The anime turned to shit, but the manga's still decent. They haven't killed off all the characters . ^_^

The death flags are real. I feel like every page is just a bridge between the next character death.

Haha, what I meant is from the existing Nightraid no one has died in a while. Unless you count Mine.

Bulat, Mine*, Luddock/Lubbock/Ludo/Lubo (my word, translators), Sheere, Chelsea, and Susanoo*. I like to think no one's died recently because the pacing slowed to crawl with the most recent chapters I read early this year.

Also, I wish Wave was the main character. He has more character and an arguably better (potential) romantic subplot than our protagonist.
