These bots index xenforo topics and help (for example google and other search services) search the net. They are basically crawling the net like spiders. Nothing malicious.
Of course bots can be malicious. But the ones that are let in by XenForo and are on that list are just the indexing bots for search services and this is what the question was about, right?
