    That is true, but I think it's something the game designers should be concerned about. I'm not entirely sure my point of view is correct - perhaps teams that defend in team deathmatch should be rewarded. On the other hand for obvious reasons you want somebody to attack, and if I were designing the game I'd provide incentive to attackers.

    Nah, if the defending team are winning over the attackers, it means they're the better players. It's harder and more tense to defend and repair than to rush the enemy.

    Defenders have so much more advantage over attackers. The big obvious one is that they have a fortifications-rock drops, traps, archer ports etc. Even just having towers to block catapults and archers is huge. They also have a closer spawn meaning reinforcements come faster and they'll be fighting with more men on average. The opponent might not have forward workshops, which the defender will definitely have. The fights happening in the defender zone means they'll be able to pick up more coins. There's almost never any stone in the center of the map so the attacking builder and archers will be short on resources.

    Really defenders have countless advantages.
