40 Hour Famine

The 40 Hour Famine is a World Vision run community donation challenge that challenges people to go 40 hours without food, talking, furniture, TV or technology. This fund has helped people in 3rd world countries that are suffering from extreme poverty, get food, water and donations to their villages. I wanted to bring up this point because I think that as The People of the Internet, we can make such a difference to a 3rd world country and is inhabitancy. We are so lucky that we have access to the internet, a computer and other privileges. If everyone just donates a small amount of money, we could stop the poverty and such.
