    It makes me laugh when people get happy about building spike pits and commenting about them, seriously.
    Rule 1. Don't Build spike pits.

    Fair enough you got three kills, but you could've invaded a fort, built a small structure, or even farm bombs, whatever. Just help your team out.

    That's not the point, the time you could be digging a spike pit is the same as I said above, helping your team. Any wrong move you do could lose your team the game!

    And plus, one bomb could take out 1-5 spikes, (50 stone) and, it is very easy to destroy, with a builder. (By covering with stone, breaking spikes, laddering, etc.)

    Yes, you could. But repairing costs quite alot of mats, and a bit of time.

    Tbh, I would rather use my mats on the front lines, shops, and repairs on buildings that will be useful.

    Yes, if you have paid for it you can do basically what you want to do, since it was your money. But seriously, try and help out your team. I bet you would have more fun and feel more "accomplished" when you help out on the front lines.

    Just my 5 cents, tried to put some sense into this thread. Spike pits are terrible. Terrible.

    E: why the fuck would you put spikes ON TOP of bridges? That hurts YOUR team, and has NO EFFECT on your opponents.

    double E: wait, do you mean in the tunnel above the depression, or switch the two? whatever, the best trap is still not to dig a tunnel in the first place

    OMG it works waiiiiit No i mean the depression is 3 blocks deep. They can't get accross with out dying and if you add a door each side of te trap you win!!!

    so basically just a normal spike trap, but really short, and in a tunnel. Let's see, I'll take one damage when I first jump in, then after I destroy the blocks that the spikes are on my teammates will take no damage when they jump in, and we'll either break the doors and go through, or dig under them and get by. Spike traps in general are Highly ineffective unless you put a ton of materials into surrounding them with stone, which takes a lot of resources to make something that can be easily destroyed with only a couple of bombs. The only winning move is still not to tunnel.

    Yeah. but if its threes high they have to jump to break them. And i messed the thing up its stone on the spikes in stead of dirt
