    Well then...

    Clearly you need to broaden your horizons. What you suggest is good, but if you take what I've suggested with the SPAM+egg+ctomatos as a base you can make a variety of tasty breakfast-types:

    For example you add some finely shredded shallots & fresh sage, throw a dash of good white wine over it as you go (probably a dry riesling or a [fresh] young chardonnay), and adding a smallish pinch of cayenne + quick/light drizz of (rich/full) olive oil over the dish once plated onto a cross-cut section of lightly scorched (i.e. v. quick exposure to a hot flame so you have crispiness w/ the occasional black bit as the surface & warms softness underneath) baguette you've rubbed with half a clove of garlic (sparingly! Careful to avoid heavy handedness here as you don't want the garlic to overwhelm the other flavours). If you'd like you may also add a v. light sprinkling of coriander over things as well.

    Or alternatively, if you'd rather a sweet over savory affair, you could add a strip of bacon, a lamb sausage or two, and/or a scotch fillet to the mix (making sure the bacon gets particularly crisp, that the sausages don't have any additional herbs, & the fillet is a thin one), prepare some baked beans in a firm-but-lean tomato sauce (i.e. no red wine & no tomato paste, add some flour to help bulk out the sauce) in another pan and then take your SPAM; eggs; cherry tomato halves; bacon, sausages and/or fillet; baked beans and plate them up on some toasted English muffins/buckwheat pancakes/fresh waffles/lightly-salted oatmeal porridge (of a medium/firm consistency, in a wide & shallow bowl) with a liberal topping of maple syrup and either some fresh, strongly whipped cream or some thin cheese pieces (generally one of the blander varieties [so motz or boc will do], although I have also used a stronger variety [say parm] to provide some juxtaposition with the syrup).

    Hmm, thinking about it further, fwiw you could probably also add some portobello 'shrooms to the savory version without it upsetting the balance.

    Bean Bag Buccaneers is a two player children's game, the object of which is to pick up your treasure chest on the central island and sail back safely.
    Each player has a giant sailing ship as their main game piece. Each ship has a removable sail, two trigger-action side panels, and a huge spring-driven cannon. Players take turns moving forward along a prescribed track and shooting bean bags at their opponent's ship. A hit on one of the side panels will force it to pop off and give the player a free shot at the other side; a hit forcing the sail off becalms the ship for a turn.
    To add to the pirate flavor, each player also has an eye patch. Wearing these will slightly affect depth perception and add a marginal bit of sport to the shooting.
    This game retailed for the somewhat impressive sum of $16 back in 1962. With its huge plastic ships (close to a foot long), giant vinyl play mat, and the eye patches, it may well stand as one of the more overproduced games of the early 1960s.

    Fbb, you want class? I can give you class.

    1) whip up some holandaise and put it in a hot thermos to stay warm
    2) start toasting some (preferably homemade) english muffins
    3) start searing some spam in a saute pan with maybe just a drizzle of olive oil
    4) poach some eggz.
    5) if you timed everything correctly, the muffins, eggs, and spam will all be done at the same time, and the hollandaise should keep up to 2 hours in a good thermos, so everything will be ready at the same time, assemble your spegs benedict by first placing half a muffin down on the serving mechanism of your choice, followed by a piece of the hot spam, then egg, then slowly drizzle over the holandaise (specific speed is optional, but I like to go with borderline inappropriate), garnish with some chives.

    Uhh, you mean extra virgin??? pls2define wit da proper termz. U specified a dry wine, y no x-tra virgin olive oil?

    I didn't use the terms because I assume that many of those reading are Canadian & America where the terms virgin & extra virgin are meaningless. While Australian law is sensible (and hence you can't call an oil one of those things unless it actually is), the same doesn't apply to US/Can oils. :(

    Additionally, not all extra virgin oils are made equal. Some are rather thin in their flavour, where's others have a more fruity quality; and due to it being a savoury dish you want the latter to help enhance the other flavours.

    Actually, our government is SUPER ocd about these kind of things, yes, there are a lot of terms floating around in our food market that don't mean shit (they were just imagined by the marketing department of some company, and no one else uses them, so why should they be regulated?), but all of the REAL terms are very, VERY specifically defined as to what may or may not be in a product labeled as such, what percentages of blah blah blah, how they can be handled, etc. etc., trust me, real terms mean something in american food markets. thank you FDA.

    even if my country didn't have regulations on what oils you can or cannot label as extra virgin, I could always just buy a brand imported from italy, in fact, should do that anyway, italy and spain have best olive oils <3

    Eww. You do realise that 90% of the oil that goes out from EU to the rest of the world is sub par, right? They keep (and use, in large quantities) the best for themselves (which is sensible when you think about it--cooking with inferior oils is just wrong) and ship off the other (often somewhat older) stuff to us. As an Australian I have the advantage of getting *fresh* oil from places like the Hunter Valley (which is climatically similar to Tuscany), but if you're in America then I'm afraid I wouldn't know (off the top of my head at any rate) of anywhere you could obtain reliably decent stuff. Actually, it might be worth seeing if there's anyone within a few hundred miles of you who makes the stuff; so long as the producers aren't just trying to screw you for a buck, I'd say that local produce > imported stuff erry day of the week.
