Admin abusing

Before you decouple the editor from guards could you possibly look into why my premium flag isn't working anymore? It only shows a green x next to my name as opposed to two xs.

There are other uses for map editor such as zooming in and out and also to remove blocks being placed to trap people in the tent (however with that I like to freeze everyone but me, break out then unfreeze lol)

Edge calm down on the posts, your starting to post nonsense on alot of threads.

 

This might be a good idea. However it can come in useful. I've never had to use it yet, but if someone got stuck, it's a quick option to free them. Then again if someone is stuck they can always just switch teams or reenter the server to spawn back at a tent. Suicide somtimes fails. The one reason that it might come in handy is if a griefer were to make a trap for teammates. I remember one griefer a few months ago would attempt to block in the home base and every op he could before the server owner came back and finally kicked him. If a guard was there that had access to the editor, would have been easy to remove the blocks. This is however the only reason that would justify having the editor.

I did only once use it to build a castle, but that was in an empty server that was still short 2 players to start the game. I switched teams and built a mirror image on the other side

I guess time will tell on who is trusted. I never asked or knew I was chosen as a guard and for a short while, didn't even know I had the privilege, however, I do my best as a guard. I just want to play a fun game and want everyone else to play a fun game. Even with griefers or players in a bad mood - I try to make them see that it's pointless to be destructive.. just have fun, before I'm forced to boot them.

 

I saw Frank on servers but I guess i wasn't online long enough to see him do that , When i read this post i was shocked

 

Thinking on it, I totally agree. In the example I posted above, if a griefer did that, once he's kicked, builders could dig through the blocks in no time anyway. Just don't take the editor away for personal servers or single player. I won't mind however if it being completely disabled is unavoidable. I still have gold and thus all the other features that gold offers, such as iron and fighting dragons.. once they get implemented in the new recoded engine.

 

I don't understand why you can't just tie map editor to premium flag only? Why does it require rcon?

I didn't understand what you meant. But also that's not proof because he is unable to ban toks anyway and he is reporting a griefer in the wrong thread. I don't understand how that constitutes mod abuse... more, ignorance. Not that we could use that as proof. To us english speakers, it's a load of gibberish :/
