    I remember seeing somewhere that its slightly more likely to land tails side up since heads is slightly heavier. But I guess it depends on the coin

    Which coin? In NZ, it is more likely to land heads because the head on the coin is kinda brought out further than the other side hence more weight hence it wanting to land on that side. So, heads ... in NZ coins.

    @Smithyman - why would it go to tails if heads is heavier, the heaviest side will go on the bottom won't it?

    @allknowingfrog takes this round. The correct answer is that it's more likely to land on whatever side you start facing up. It's about 51/49 percent ratio. The difference would probably be bigger than that if people didn't flip it with slightly different force/direction/other variables which is what actually ends up causing the randomness.

    Next Question: On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the highest), how funny is FuzzyBlueBaron?
