Archer Utility?

    You can be fairly careful around randomly shot arrows not aimed at you and not lose any hearts, or you can charge ahead and slay the archer, losing half a heart.

    As I said before-
    pointless to spam arrows. you get slowed down by the drawing of the arrow, you waste arrows because you'll most likely miss all the time, not to mention it'd take 2 seconds for a knight to catch up to you and double slash you, given the first reason.
    You can only spam arrows from about 15 blocks away, and you get slowed down by the drawing of the arrows + the knight charging at you = shower of gibs! :migrant:

    Uhm, spamming arrows from close range often results in the knight's death, in my experience.

    Not in my experience. My experience is usually as knight btw. I never spam arrows as archer... o.o

    I hate bombs too...(as archer)

    I just thought of something...
    Why not give archers a small push attack?
    It wouldn't do any damage, it would just push back enemies two tiles, no stun either.

    then make it chargable,
    something like half the time it takes to charge an arrow to yellow?

    I don't see the point of charging, when the point of this is to keep the knight/enemy away.
    (+ Archers are already annoying enough to catch)

    Other than that, it might be good.

    Well, then what is your opinion?
    Instead of just making fun of an unbalanced idea tell me how to improve it.
    You don't really add anything usefull to this thread with "Spamspamspam ".

    Archer is hard to catch. *Enter archer push* Archer is near impossible to catch.

    If they bring these in for shops, they should cost 20c, the same as bombs, and have a re-charge period. The maximum storage of these should be 3, as archers won't use many more to stop knights. Anyway, how would the item icon look like?... Hands with an arrow pointing right or left? o.O Star wars lolz

    maybe dagger parry like in irl... cant really attack through armor, but it can stop a sword(though not a slash)

    Why not just add a "stamina" bar, and then add a various of moves that require different amounts stamina?
    Ex;
    - Run
    - Crawl
    - Push
    - Kick
    - Jump extra high
    - Etc.

    If you run out, you have to rest/Quaters.

    Pretty much the same thing.

    Also, how about kicks? They stun the enemy but you can't shoot or kick again for a few seconds. The cooldown could be indicated by a little bar, and it would take roughly 8-10 seconds.

    how about an upgrade in the shops for the war gametype?
    kinda like upgrade bomb shop to keg shop?
    (upgrade knight to king arthur! archer to robin hood! builder to castle constructor!)

    omg this is turning out like spyro (e.g. stamina bars and health bars)

    Well, not necessarily. Depends on the different abilities of the classes. Whether they outweigh one another, or not. + We'd also probably have to alter some other game mechanics.

    I hope it doesn't turn into the rock-paper-scissors thing that people keep trying to say exist. Knight pwns archers and builders, archer bets builder, archers, and with synced power shot/stupid knights try beat knights. Builder will just ladder stuff up and build stuff for archer and knight
