    Also, this isn't like a monopoly on clan matches or anything, so if you're butthurt you aren't in the circlejerk you can just organize matches yourself. YB and probably the other clans will welcome challenges from anyone.

    Lucas, if you can't be the leader of the merc team, why not apply to be in it? The involvement will probably be less strenous, and it might fit a little more within your time constraints. If you're not on for the next two weeks, that's not so likely to affect you when it comes to fighting battles in about a months time.
