You guys for sure need a new way to fix times because it's fucked up at every match and we know it one day before.
How can we organize with that? Verrazano said POWER vs YB was 12PM EST, it's 12:48 right now. Only one guy should fix the time and say it to everyone because now, everyone say it and fail at convert or whatever.

It would be pretty great if we can know the time AND DATE one week before, so we can organise more easily.

 

So what is going to happen now?

 

What I do to organise times: Every Monday, I make conversations inviting both sides playing and ask them to settle their time as quick as possible. Then I end up repeatedly messaging them multiple times to get a reply. It's not my trouble, but there's nothing I can do, either. Reply faster and you get a time more quickly. Some teams do this, some don't.
As for date, the default assumption is Saturday. If needed, that date is changed. I'd like to go the matches more smoothly too, but that won't work without cooperation.

 

I say, kick out both POWER and YB. After this, give all peopeople who were going to play with POWER walkovers (and give xCUBE a walkover for their last game aganst POWER) and replace YB with Delta.

That was only because we didn't have tactics and we player in America, well kick all tho's asses at our home matches

 

That's the problem, fix your time alone. If some can't play, fuck them. It's even worst how you guys deal with the time right now.

 

Simply add countdown on the mainthread...that counts down to the next match. Then noooobody has any issues with time.

I won't set any times. If people are unable of the simplest acts of communication, why is it my task to worry about that? We'll have a website set up soon where we'll surely incorporate a countdown and a set time in damn GMT 24 hours, not local time + AM/PM madness. It's not hard to convert. If you fail, ask google.
Problem being if I would set times: I have absolutely no idea what each team prefers since we got people from regions all over the world, different patterns of living, different preferences all the way. Clan leaders are normally familiar with when their team can play (I do for the matter of BoW), so I contact them to minimize work for myself.

 

If you guys keep reporting and giving wrong times, no need to convert.

 

I was even rechecking with people before announcing 18 GMT, there were no concerns. I excuse that I am not as familiar as people in other countries with AM/PM and respective local time zones, but that happens. And are we keeping to giving the wrong times? This was the ONLY match so far that gone bad through a mistake of mine, the rest happened due to things like "Oh, it's Friday night, I might check when we'll play the match!". So pick someone else to blame, I'm doing this only because I enjoy it, I don't get paid or anything. People should start playing their part and things will run fine and smoothly. I don't blame anyone, we're all new to this, but this pointing at people from a safe position drives me mad.

 

I already pointed out that this was my mistake. Shame on my head and may I be rotting in a dungeon forever for committing such a thing. I can also invite you to the respective conversation if you still want the details.
But thanks for disregarding everything else I said, I appreciate your effort to just settle this and move on.

4, 5 clan wars per saturday are epic to schedule. Good luck with that and it can happen some problems but thats the life with a competitive scene.

 

There were some delays as YB had to update their speedhacks, but it ended up being a really close series with POWER winning 100:0.
