Yup thanks for that, thanks for all the work you do freddex, I know it's frustrating. But it's frustrating for all of us. Hopefully it will get smoother from here on out. #YOLO

  4. I had less fun being the laggy builder for the team cause our original builder couldn't make it. But it's nice seeing the bombs I buy be useful. Oh well.

What's the exact result of YB vs. POWER anyways? Could use it for my records.

And, oh, announcement time again (in my head, I call it adventure time):
MOLE withdraws from the league since they don't see this as appropriate competition due to the alpha/beta state of KAG. Luckily, a replacement was found, called FAITH. Those grumpy bears hail from far Russia and now want their share. The brave pelt hats have to inherit MOLE's score of 0 and 2 played matches, but accepted the challenge nontheless.

My smart use of the word challenge leads us to... well... upcoming challenges like the matches next Saturday! We'll have Pk# vs. POWER, YB vs. BoW and FAITH vs. MERC!
As always, our fellow streamer VanHuek tries to cover as much match material as possible on www.twitch.tv/vanhuek, but he's human and can always use a hand. If you want to help him streaming or if you think you can help commentating a match or even editing videos, don't hesititate to contact VanHuek directly on the forums or via IRC in #kag. Some people already offer help, thanks guys, human resources pile is growing.

A thing to mention last but not least: A great little website made by BorderKeeper from ground up (ground being code) for the ArL is in progress. I'll link it here and everywhere, so by following that link really quick, you can glance at all upcoming matches, the score table, past matches and links to the live streams at once! That should help removing clutter!
The thing should be ready around next week, we're still tweaking some things.

Thanks for your interest in the ArL!

    3 : 1 for POWER.
The point given to YB was a tie match, so it given a point for both team.

  8. I'm still confused on how it plays out, since we played 7 matches, but let's go with WarrFork's score.

    1. FBB crashed a moment and Carver was afk to the bathroom.
    2. Contrary didn't noticed it was a real round and asked to restart it.
    3. Win for POWER. (1:0)
    4. It was a tie but you lagged out, so I dosen't count too.
    5. Tie match, it count. 1 point for both team. (2:1)
    6. Win for POWER. (3:1)

Something like that if i'm right. I'm confused about it too.

Alright, since I received no complaints of any kind, that is counted as official.

What about that whole "map control" thing? Or were you guys just to lazy to bother with that? Or was that never implemented?

We all didn't know that during the game I guess and I personally don't like the idea.
You can control the 3/4 of map and still lose, it's stupid.

That's Unity Ruleset, we're using Épée Ruleset.
    Unity Ruleset
    Épée Ruleset

Also you have that backwards if your talking about the idea of map control. If you are controlling a majority of the map you win.

  17. If we followed that ruleset, we'd win both tied matches cause we took 3/4 of the map. Instead, we tied the first match cause there was only one player left on each team and won the second "tied" match cause we had 4 players still alive while they had 3.

    Match times, gentlemen:
    18:30 GMT: FAITH vs. MERC
    20:00 GMT: YB vs. BoW
    ------- GMT: Pk# vs. POWER*
*The teams didn't manage to agree to a time yet.

It's still unsure if we can cover this ArL weekend with live streams. Our only guy having the expertise and the upload speed to stream a match, VanHuek, is frankly just a human and can't spend every Saturday night on this. So anyone else willing to help is absolutely welcome and can contact VanHuek privately via the forums or IRC any time.
We'll keep you updated about the results though. The website is ready and will go live on Sunday, some already got a glance, it got quite neat, thanks to BorderKeeper for that!

Been talking to Van. I have the software needed to stream, but I can't get it to work properly. And with time running out I am not sure I can help.

Oh, no worries. It's ArL, there'll be matches coming for a long time, so we're still glad for help in future matches. I'm sure Van can handle that. : )
