She went all they way from being a pirate chick into a treasure hunter seemingly straight out of a Uncharted game.... Still things that needs to be fixed... but ill get to those later if I decide to ad color.

Oh and my weapon of choice?

It was fairly cheap, and it has served me rather well so far... the mouse that came with it can go suck balls tho!

Not bad, maybe you should add some folds and creases in the trousers. Not just drawing lines inside the outline of the trousers, but actually curving the outline to match the folds if you know what I mean. The clothing waist down looks too rigid.

I fail at explaining but I sketched it.

I kind of want to try editing some KAG sprites just for the heck of it... anyone got a proper sprite sheet to abuse the hell out of?

Yeah you got it, it looks much better now. :)

To be honest, you're alright at clothing. The shirt sleeves look good.

    Here's a crossbowmen I did today.

Sometimes pixel by pixel, sometimes a bunch of pixels at a time.
Correct me if I'm wrong, Smilescythe.

... He uses Paint? Paint has some really major drawbacks for pixel art.

    Use GrafX2: http://code.google.com/p/grafx2/

Besides, most pixel art pros never really post-process their work, it's all done with clever colour ramps etc etc.

Honestly it doesn't really matter what program you use, as long as you have a good workflow with it.
I can reccomend programs like Graphics Gale and Photoshop more myself, but it's all up to individual perferrence in the end.

Yeah, I think I just have a soft spot for Amiga stuff so I love GrafX2. :p

There's nothing wrong with GrafX2, if it's your perferred way of spriting then just use that.
    Simple as that.

Dunno if it's too good with animations though.

It lacks any real animation functionality, but Moai is the alternative to GrafX2 for animation. It's still got the retro interface but it's designed for animation in mind. It is pretty clunky though...

Your composition is awful, the jagged areas doesn't complement the placement of the stringy bits enough.
I can see that you've put some effort into it though, blueboy, so it's not all for nothing.
