    • In the original i hand (stylus) drew the goldish background with all the spikes and stuff, and the green leaves and the different shades of green. Then i blurred it all and added lens flair and more contrast.
    • Number 1: Using the original i added more contrast and set the saturation to 0.
    • Number 2 is what number 1 looked like before I took away the colour. I also changed the hue in this one and added circles with a large sized brush (changing the hue, saturation, size, and transparency). I blurred some of the circles to create depth.
    • Number 3 is what number 2 looked like without the added circles. I overlayed this one onto the original and changed the hue again.

Not sure how it works in other programs but overlaying 2 pictures in photoshop automatically averages the contrast, hue, saturation, lightness etc.
      TLDR:
So I only really drew in the original (the gold background + spikes, and the bad colouring of the leaves).
The others are just the original + effects.

I made those just for no reason, now i'm going to go back and add land and other stuff. Here is my new basic plan:

Art is not easy. I bet even the most famous artists in the world had some failed pieces and had to learn a lot. If you fail to draw what you want dont quit to aim higher, we should learn from our mistakes do not ignore them or be afraid, im drawing cancer all the time, but im like "wow ! The second face i drew is less cancerous than the first one !" If you cant draw what you want, ask people you label as "better" Or just try harder. Draw what you truly like and you will improve sooner or later. [IMG] <- messy sketch .p.

There's a saying: "Every artist has thousands of bad drawings in them and the only way to get rid of them is to draw them out."

Talent doesn't correlate with how good you can be. It might affect how easily you can picture something in your mind, as a beginner. Or maybe some people will have a better intuition for what looks more visually appealing. But it will never replace hard work. You don't even have to work that hard, if you're not trying to be a professional--just try to draw purposefully, on a regular basis.

Nothing to bet there. Artists are great not because of the well-drawn art you've seen, they are great because of 1000 sketches, attempts, that you didn't see and which most likely end-up being thrown in a bucket.
Each art you create makes you better.

lol i always try to water down my feedback but now that bloodofknight did it, now i can finaly be mean :D
all my meanness should be used to improve your art, not to make you cry, tho it may mwah a ha ha had hasfoarisrgoersijdgkf

oh and, be very mean to me, i like it when people talk about how bad my art is because then it's obvious what i need to improve :D also when i give advice to people so that they can make their art better, i always try to say something positive about the art before i criticise it and sometimes its hard lol, so you don't even have to say anything good about my art because i take nothing offensively
