It's pretty much a necessity to keep a server alive. Trusting the average Peasant to have both the arithmetic skills and the decency to manually balance the teams is a bit much. Joking aside, it's a bit sad that steamrolling with a twice as big of a team tends to be fun. When you're having fun you don't really check the scoreboard, or for that matter, feel like switching teams to go be a punching bag. More than two player difference in team sizes? Next guy to die on the bigger team gets switched. Simple as that. Having the server announce teambalancing beforehand could save the random Peasant from raging if someone else feels like switching instead. Of course, clanmatches or such would require the option to be turned off. However, I urge that all public server hosts keep it on.
