Being able to see who's playing what class on the leaderboard.

Hello all, played a bit of Alpha, really enjoying Beta right now on Mac. So are my two boys; both Minecraft addicts.

My idea is pretty much the title. I'll often be mining and thinking "is there ANYONE attacking right now?". If there was an icon for each class on my team at the top with a number showing how many players are currently playing as each, I would have a better idea as to when I should consider switching.

It is a bit difficult to find. The only reason I found it again is because I searched Swabbin. However, this DOES really need to get added. The idea is a bit different but the same idea. Know the classes of your team.

I agree with Swabbin that there should be a visual indication of your team's class breakdown. Eamono's example is a good template, especially since it's similar to Team Fortress 2's.

You shouldn't be able to see the enemy team's class breakdown for exactly the same reason that you wouldn't want them to know what you're up to either. If they're all archers then so be it, find out by engaging them.

If there was a visual indicator of your team's class breakdown outside of the scoreboard, for example at the class selection window or omnipresent in the corner of the screen, then it would help the team organise themselves better. Often after the build period has completed almost all of a team prefer to remain as builders and just assume that the rest of the team is taking up the offensive.
