Indeed, my thoughts exactly. Damn little toe! Why do you have to be so exposed and stub-able!

 

Anyone one else break something?

 

Extra bone is extra protection, I was told that my metatarsal will have a big hard callus and won't be so easy to break in future. Come on peeps lets fire up this thread again.

Just broke my hand again haha

 

I broke my arm and had to have it in a cast up to just below my shoulder for 8weeks. I also cut my right ear all the way inside. I will tell yohow i cut my ear open inside if you want but its quite a long story.

Not really an injury, but I think it is worth sharing anyways.

I punched myself really hard last week. My bag was stuck beneath a door, I pulled, it was stuck, so I pulled harder. All a sudden it came loose and my hand flew straight for my nose, what ensued was a loud cracking noise and lots of blood that came streaming down. Safe to say, I felt rather silly.

 

This is how i cut my ear open all the way inside:

I was camping in North wales because my brother was competing in the Cadet Worlds and Cadet nationals sailing competitions. One evening the whole campsite had a waterfight. I was about 7 and wasnt that good at riding a bike, i thought it would be a great idea to get a water pistol and ride around on my bike shooting people. It kinda worked untill i looked behind me to see who was chasing me, my front wheel hit a rut in the field and lost control. I fell of my bike and one of the handle bars (which had a jagged sharp edge because my dad had cut them to make them shorter because they were stupidly long) went in my ear, spun round (to this day i dont know how it spun round) and cut it open all the way inside. I then had to go to Bangor hospital to have it stitched. I still have a scar on my right ear.

 

I've never broken a bone in my life.
I have had an infected ear that hurt quite a lot and a knee the bled very badly from falling into a pit of bark.

 

I once dropped a heavy statue on my foot.
It managed to flatten a couple of my toes on the sides, and as a result my third toe on my left foot is the longest of any that I have.

Nice work, I made the mistake of tilting my head forwards whilst doing a hammer kick in TKD, I smashed myself in the face with my own shin haha

WHATS WRONG WITH KIDS THESE DAYS?! Are they all cooped up inside and never get to experience any danger in their lives? Whats life without blood and broken bones?

 

I think I tore my menisci a little bit. One time I was on a hike and I swung to sideways kinda hard to avoid stepping on some slugs. It hurt a bit at first but it got better. Later I jumped down from this ledge and landed kinda hard on that one knee and it started hurting more again. It's not noticeable to most people but a professional walking consultant kind of guy I met at a shoe store noted that I walked with a slight limp and it causes my left foot to cramp up when I run sometimes because I step on it more heavily to compensate for the other leg.

Fuck, I may or may not have broken my foot aswell (soccer warmup for Taekwondo a while ago), I'm going to go to the doctors for this one, thats not bad going, 2 breaks in 3 days... :p

 

I've never broken a bone, ;_; But I have crushed my fingers in a car boot, they lived but they are now all white. :L

 

I had 3 real injures so far (Not counting crapload of times when I hit things with my little toe walking around room with lights off) , I broke my left wrist when I was taking shower. I was 11 or 12 years old. I also broke my right elbow 3 or 4 years ago, when I was skating without protection. Gah, it was soooo painful At least I learned to wear protection whenever I do sport!
But my BEST injury: I've managed to stab myself when I was trying to get over fence with spikes on top of them. 1 inch to left and I would not have my right testicle. Man it was scary, I looked like a boy on period with blood all over my crotch.

I've never had a serious groin injury, though I've taken massive ball blows several times, like hurting for hours/days sort of hits.

But one time, while I was in hospital for another surgery, my penis ended up in a bad way, some how the surgeons managed to get my penis trapped under my thigh while I was lying on my back, guess they were moving me round and not paying to much attention to my junk.

Yeah so anyway, after a 2 couple of hours trapped under my leg my penis received bad bruising from half way day to the tip and also much of my scrotum as they managed to get my balls stuck under my leg aswell.

Another funny story when I came out from under anaesthesia and went to go for a piss I looked down to see my very sad looking battered and bruised penis hanging there looking poor and abused, so I pressed the buzzer for assistance, I then proceeded to show a hot japanese nurse my penis and asked if anything had happened, much to my relief she explained the whole sometimes dicks get trapped under legs business (But I was on my back, dafuq how they manage that?)

I was real worried haha never seen a part of my body look so battered haha coz I really don't bruise easy.
