Build 1085 - "Shiprekt"

  1. How would I remove the random block function and add a inventory to the core so I can pick individual parts?

    I think the mode is pretty neat (funwise), only some lag when moving fast between the ship and the charachters, but definitely would be good to have some more info on who does what. A kinda of small hud where all the crew members appear if they're manning something woudl be nice.

    Apart from this, sometimes you don't know who won the round if you don't check the points. A death console if possible would be nice as well, and a message saying which team won.

    Kudos anyway to the dev team, this game mode is marvellous. It's very builder-friendly.

    This "connect pieces" to make a ship thing, should have been a thing added to regular KAG. Not where it looks like blocks, but ship sections, where you can make ships deeper/taller/wider based on pieces you connect.

    Great build! Combat near spikes is more high stakes now, I'm loving it! (Especially shooting knights down into spikes when the climb the walls ::D:) Archer vs Knight combat feels more fair and way less random without the arrow slashing, after a bit of play with this build, I'm glad it's gone.

    The TDM shopkeep thing was bugging me forever, really nice to be able to buy stuff easily, especially in a fast paced game like TDM. The arrow cost stings me a bit as archer but I see why it had to happen.

    Now to try Shiprekt...

    Shiprekt is like if KAG was nothing but idiot builders on a boat. It's amazingly stupid in all the right ways.

    Just a heads up to anyone "Griefed" by MM yesterday; (un?)fortunately he hasn't just gone rogue, we were showing Shiprekt and KAG at AMAZE in Berlin and the best way to show multiplayer games is of course in a multiplayer setting.

    Was definitely funny seeing all the bad decisions new players made getting people angry at MM, but he didn't seem to mind too much.

    New players and griefers look exactly the same in Shiprekt, it's beautiful.

    The difference is just one is yelling "OH GOD HOW I DRIVE THIS?"

    i think it's more along the lines of random placed spikes on dirt can stun you, while it should only have stun effect on blocks that allow then to retract / detract.

    I dont think that's a problem. For these 2 days i noticed, that matches are more like in alpha, buildings matter more archer support works better, everything's great. When I saw complaining at forum I though it might be a big problem, but in game I dont see any. Traps are finnaly working like traps should work-THEY KILL.

    Finally. The game is balanced. No more arguments about who's more OP... for now the Builder Master Race has risen again...

  18. So I've been away from the game for a while, only played a few Shiprekt matches, only tonight I got to actually play KAG, not sure what you guys did and not in the mood to read the through the pages, but whatever it was, you did it right. My faith in humanity is slightly recovered.
