Build 954 - New TDM Maps, Waterfalls, And More!

    Enemy places it, and anchors it, is what nighthawk meant. Then your own team can't use it

    I get angry at people like you because I'm scared. I'm scared that Geti and MM will get discouraged from all the infantile complaining and nitpicking their users hurl at 'em every day. Fuck it, kids like you will fuck up KAG, not because 'community is turning to shit' or whatever superiority-nazi-nonsense you people spew these days, but because you will run our devs off.

    And those are the only people who do make KAG better.

    Builders can break any catapults, but yes this can pose a problem with knights. You don't have to convert it, but I can appreciate that it can be tricky to prevent teamies from doing it. I'll do something about it if it proves to actually be a problem.

    I see it as a problem but not a big one. I just think if it's locked down there needs some way where it can't fuck your own team over with it. That is why I mentioned the turning Catapult so when you face it with your mouse, it'll move but stay in place. I just can't think of the name of such a feature...

    But as long as you can mobilize it BACK, then there shouldn't be a problem.

    He has every right to report a problem. He didn't do it in a disrespectful way, and I'm sure devs appreciate information about how their own game plays, since their mission is to make the most balanced multiplayer game in existence.

    This is why i keep on typing my 1-sided opinions when I can. I hope they might help in any way the devs, considering the forums opinions come from a bunch of different people, but mainly from common players as me.
    What is more, there are some players typing about the game problems or issues pretty wisely at the Steam discussions.

    @Geti thanks for the answers.
    Eventhough you haven't changed the knight's code, its gameplay has changed (mainly jousting between knights), and I believe it's due to the stun modification from last build, causing several strange movements in air, plus being stunned slightly more often. Unfortunetely i have no video of this to show.

    The best thing of this build, for me, is the focus on TDM. The new maps are pretty ok, and I assume Beta will have soon an always populated TDM server with plenty of proper maps. (@NKking , @Crabmaster get on work with it!).

    Btw, as in CTF you can buy bombs with the shop menu held, this does not happen at TDM, having to click on the trader again after buying 1 item, last time I checked.

    I will soon release a Full Map Pack. i will remake all my maps so they fit the original KAG mods (CTF, TDM, RTDM, TTH) and also will include the same versions of those maps but for different mods. There will probably will be over 70 maps :3

    Oh yeah, map making...Yeah I had gotten back into that for a short while but I have no one to test maps with, up until now any servers that would have maps were hidden(which makes me love this build), and I got really frustrated that I have to re-upload all my maps again because the system reverted back into all maps being in a single resource...At least one of those is taken care of now, but these kinda things discourage me from even bothering.

    Fwiw I'd say that's 100x more visible than "hidden by default with no mention whatsoever"; the current system is an interim until we have account registered date available inside the game.
