You obviously didn't write the correct password. And sudo runs commands as root. Try sudo -i

You could try to 'apt-get install gcc-4.7-multilib' as Mazey suggested.

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
ia32-libs : Depends: ia32-libs-multiarch but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Wubi works perfectly.. There is very few problems on Linux-supported machines...
For example, Windows 8 hibernation or the UEFI like I said.

I don't think you know, but, there is viruses on Windows deleting essentials Wubi files, for example, root.disk and there is rare viruses on Linux, but some of them are capable to damage or implant viruses to your Windows...

Edit : Your link cannot shows how to use Wubi with UEFI.
The problem is Wubi, not Ubuntu in that case.

    That's what I thought.
You can always try to start kag, won't harm a thing..

Try 'sudo apt-get -f install' if it's still not working

It'd be easier if you installed Debian if this still doesn't work

Thats why never install Linux on NTFS with Windows together on the same partition. Wubi isnt true way.
