    Starting server.

    Musketman damage x1.5, cannot use fire/bomb/water arrows.
    Spearman as I said no shield and slightly slower attack, lets see how it goes, maybe make his charge slower.

    Aftter 1-2+ hours of testing, no freezing, no bugs, there is also voting system, everything seems fine, the spearman gets owned from the musketman, musketman gets owned from the knight,knight gets owned from the spearman so far balance wise looks fine (archer is more of a sieging unit, only archer can use bomb/fire/water arrows). We will see if we need to change anything after some more testing, more stuff will be implemented in the future.

    Tomorrow, I will increase the slots and introduce more maps, or maybe use random generated maps?

    Sounds awesome! Try using larger maps/lowering the requirements for some of the shops since it's hard to get a base up in the amount of build time offered.
    Sometimes the wood requirements seem quite high for certain shops. Also, something else should be needed to breed sharks/bison other than wood. Not sure what though.

    The spearman range is a bit drastic. I've hit players 6-7 tiles away with a jab with no forward velocity before. Sometimes I can hit players backwards a block or two. I suggest lowering the range about a block. Even with no shield, it's too easy to (without enemy archers) jab spam, because jabs now stop slash timers.

    Edit: Oh wait nevermind.

    Spearmen are meant to own knights.

    But I think I should slow down the spearmans attack by %15.
    And what are you saying about the range? It should be as big as the end of the spear, try to jab s tree, you will that the end of the spear hits the tree, if you go back like few in game centimeters you wont be able to hit it.

    I have, indeed "slashed" as a spearmen while falling off a 4-high ledge (Low velocity) and the sprite ends, but an archer was hit about a block away (Accounting for diagonal path).

    I do enjoy spearmen being a deathbringer of sorts, and as long as their reach is longer than a knight's, I suppose my suggestion isn't very valid anymore. I'm too used to having knights as a main class, where this mod makes spearmen it. Just a habit.

    Edit: I'm still not sure if spear jabs should interrupt slashes. Their jabs have a lot of range, so I think if possible, that feature should be removed.

    Having different animations to see which direction the spear man is actually aiming would be really important. And the hit box for the spear needs to be smaller, since they're strong jabs and not slashes. It should really only go along the spear's length.

    Removing the ability to interrupt slashes sounds like a good idea. Ok I will nerf the spearman and machine guns bullets today, will reduce the attack range slightly, and see how to remove interrupting enemies attack and reduce the punch power of the bullets used by the machine gun.

    Well the bad is that there is only 1 slash animation, doesnt matter what direction, so an idea would be to make the spear slash like the knights sword, the knights sword goes from behind, going up, in front, and to the ground, so actually the knight's slash animation doesnt actually show where he is slashing to, but goes trough all 3 slashing directions.

    Its not stealing, I am giving it, if they can make something better than me, they are welcome to do so. I wont be here all the time, something may come up and I may not be here, then I hope someone else will develop it further.
    But of course at the moment, if they create something interesting and add it to the mod, and the players really like it, I would only ask permission from creator if we can use it on the original server, we are doing this for the players, we are not making any cash out of this or doing it for fame, I am adding stuff, which I feel are missing or interesting to play with, and share it with others.

    And if we have more servers with the mod, more players will be able to join, at moments my server peaks 32 ppl max slots, a second server would be nice to relief the stress. More slots= more lag and crashes. I remember I had the server at 16 slots and it barely had problems, now it crashes frequently.

    Ik but then everyone will have this mod in there servers, then we won't have anyone in the original. All im saying is make them not able to have the modded server hosted 24/7

    whats the problem? if I can play my mod on another server, if I am not admin I dont care, I am not paying for the server, and if they develop it and add good ideas, the better.

    The more servers the mod is at, the better.
