Custom Made Wooden Zippo Lighters

How about a spiderweb design all around the case?

Sweet, they do make lighter covers like I described if you wanna find one and work off that maybe...

 

Well to my knowledge they don't but I can work from scratch easily.

Noc, is that zig zag underneath the crack of the case?

yup just what I had in mind. I'll try to fashion out a wooden cover for the thumb piece too so that it pulls the whole thing together.

 

Hey nebu, I've tried to do it about 10 times and each time has failed. The depth of the cavity makes it impossible with the tools that I have. Sadly, I won't be able to complete it.

And anyone else who happens across this thread, I will not be working on this anymore until perhaps next summer.
I have finished Rainbow's design so if anyone wants to look at it or buy it for 20 bucks, Reply below.
