As much as this thread is largely concerning KAG on a global level, I think it's worth noting that the Australian scene is more alive than I've ever seen it. Since the reduction of server size, lag has been less of an issue, and the CTF server is always full. This has meant that the overflow have gone to TDM, ultimately revitalizing the mode.
Tl;dr: Australia has no problem

 

Well, that's certainly a good positive. Unfortunately, as a hopeless narcissist, I live in the USA and this does nothing for me.

 

i honestly think Aus deserves another ctf server since it is almost always full(at the time most aussies play)and theres a us challenge server(2 of em for that matter)and instead of paying for that it would be better to host a server people use i doubt any usa player would mind

 

I am glad that the Aussies are enjoying their full servers, but over in the US, most of us can't get on a EU server without high-ish ping, nontheless an Australian one. There are almost always only 1 server that is mostly full, one that is about half, and then there is Aphelion's Roleplay, and the new rash of sandbox servers. There isn't that much to truly do if you aren't in Australia, and I don't think that we all want to move over there just to play KAG.

 

Another thing I would like would be something similar to the bonuses one would see post-match in SSB Melee. Basically a list of players who met certain criteria. For example:

(most kills) Angel of Death: Sangfroid
(most flag caps) Standard bearer: NinjaCell
(most deaths due to falling) Lemming: Auburn
(most water arrows purchased) Aquaman: Anonymuse
(most self-destructs) Master of Disaster: Hella
(most times drowned) Ate a Devil Fruit: NinjaCell
(most trampolines bought) Acrobat: Medieval
(no block placed at any point) Obnoxious Noble: NinjaCell, Auburn
(least movement made apart from none) Stiff Knees: Klokinator
(no movement made) AFK: Beef
(1:1 K/D) Perfectly Even: Verzuvius
(no kills or deaths) Pacifist: MM
There's probably a bunch more (creative ones) that could be added. I think the only limiting factor here is whether said thing could be measured or not.

Yeah, that point about experienced players being rude really hits home sometimes. I just had some games in which one player, who appeared to be in Zen called me a NOOB the whole match then decided to vote-kick me.
So much for "friendly and experienced".
