Demerit system to replace vote kick

    What I like most of this demerit system is as hierbo says. You can wait with voting til you see an actual offense.

    And sure it can be abused, but so can the current system. But I think the current system is way easier to successfully abuse BECAUSE of the short period of voting time where some people votes in panic.

    Once again @hierbo I'm in love with that gorgeous brain of yours. Keep it up champ! :wink::thumbs_up:

    Anyway on topic this system as mentioned before is pretty similar to the classic which was pretty good. I think the time on how slow the points go away should be less... More like 15-30mins max for each one. This is also to stop from kicking *cough* noobs *cough* newbies to the game and then causing them to quit the game, since every server they join they get kicked from by doing something, accidentally.

    Only other problem for this is if people remember classic there was those groups who went around kicking people for no reason, until they got kicked themselves, after about 4 people got kicked. So I think admins should be able to cancel out points. Not too sure how to fix this tho, but it was a problem in classic and I see it as a problem in this to..

    Other then that love the idea

    And they can't do that in the current vote system??

    We had a bunch of russians on Baron's Warchest once they'd votekick some as soon as they joined.
    Unfortunately I wasn't there to see who and cancel it. But I was notified by one of the victims.

    Random people might've contributed to their successful abuse cause of how quickly they have to vote or ignore it completely.
    It's basically just my last message over again. ::D:

    EDIT: I agree with the admins being able to cancel points thingy though!

    One thing regarding people doing the same thing to spite getting a demerit. What if those who reach a certain number lose the ability to demerit (for 10 minutes) until they either lose some demerits, or are kicked and they return later? This would lower spamming of the system. This way people aren't spamming individually to demerit others given they will be able to do it again in 10 minutes, until they are the only ones able to do it, but also fixing the spamming of the system by butthurt players.

    Also just like a vote kick, possibly add a timer on when you can do it again, but not 5, 10, 15 minutes for each. I'd say 2 minutes at the most.
