Dude its still a good game, just the story is kind of stupid :p

 

So I played a barbarian all the way through normal........ and then i used the "Wrath of the berserker" ability for the first time.



Im okay with this..... It looks even better when you wield a nodachi....

Why shell out that much cash for a lesser game when a better one is free?

 

Let me just point out that Diablo 3 has gotten ~10 times better since launch, even if it still has a few shortcomings:

The Good (Vanilla)

1) Auction House is being removed March 18th
2) Loot 2.0 makes Legs roll good stats and drop every ~3 hours for lvl 60 players
3) All items and gold are BOA now (it actually works)
4) Basic PvP (brawling)

The Bad (Vanilla)

1) Always Online still in effect
2) Expansion costs 40$$$ dollars

Also, the xpac promises:

1) Some form of ladder
2) Crusader class
3) Open world gameplay (Adventure mode)
4) Loot runs
5) New skills for all pre-existing classes
6) New level cap
7) Bounties
8) New act

I am a bit skeptical about Blizzard's promises in general, so I'm waiting until the game drops before buying. Does anybody plan to preorder?

 

Still not paying $60 for it when PoE is free.

 

From what has been said, it looks like I won't be getting the expansion. Thank you guys for the input.

I'm surprised they took out the PvP they had at blizzcon, and put in something much worse like a year later. I said all this good stuff about the game and ended up playing it for only like a week :/ . With that being said, I went ahead and bought RoS because i'm that bored... and mostly waiting for Wildstar.
