Not really. I usually play as builder because I love making towers and catapults that help the entire team. If I was a knight, I would be a complete derp and shield all the time and as an archer I would just fire off 200 arrows and get three hits. So when I get killed, I rationalize my own ineptitude at all games that require fast reaction times by saying, "Well, look at that little cheapnugget. I've got a little dinky hammer and he has [Insert weapon here]." It does make me mad when I make a "complete stupid" and destroy the only support on an enemy's skybridge or tower without assessing the situation first and end up killing my entire baby team.

Haha, here's my typical KAG game:

I'll get on a killing streak. Finally, an archer kills me halfway across the map, then half the enemy team switches to archer and pin me to cover. Then, one knight comes up and tries to kill me. I get him to half a heart then 3 simultaneous arrows kill me, and I have to spend 3 minutes explaining to the knight why he is not "a beast". After repeatedly killing him, he will try to make a joke, then leave the game, the round ends, another knight joins, and the process starts all over again.

But, I still can't stop playing this game so it obviously doesn't bug me that much. :D

Huh. I'm somewhat surprised how angry some of you can be. The only person I get angry at is myself - As I try to improve constantly (try being the keyword - I don't get leagues better just by trying, heh) I pretty much will always blame myself for a death -- a situation in which I didn't gauge the risk carefully. That being said, I realised early on that frustration is very much an impediment to your playing ability - so if I'm trying to become a better player I just sort of ignore it. I also press 2 when I get kills--though I do it in much lower frequency. For me, it's never an insult, always a jab; I'm just being a bit snide, and I'm totally fine with somebody retorting back something like "Gah, screw you Carver" because it's much more playful to me.

Frustration is part of the game carver. It's not an impediment to your playing ability at all.

Huh. I had thought 5 was the trollface (because the red tongue) and 2 was the more modest face. If someone makes a ladder for me, I usually 2 at him. Right?

While I'm ashamed if an enemy can kill five of our guys with me present, I am a bit happy about being able to kill a knight like that 1 on 1. I don't want to only be good at killing noobs. If my dead knights had waited for me to go in front, maybe it would've been different? And I'd make that smile if the enemy will want to fight me more than the guys who've already proven they're likely to die. But I make sad faces nearly as often as happy ones.

I don't get very angry at KAG because I like to measure the progress of my skill more than how individual games are going. I tend to remember names for the moderately skilled people who I enjoy fighting with.

I think my worst fails are when I try to play an archer. I've seen many archers so I know how it should turn out.

->Spending an age gathering resources, only to be blown up by a knight's bomb on reaching the front-line.
    ->Having 90% bomb-related deaths in crowded games.
->Dieing due to ignorance/lack of skill of team-mates (ie builders placing spikes badly, jumping into a fight with the hope that archers will back you up and they don't)
->Bull-rushing a lone player as a builder with several other teammates, and being the only one to die.
->Players using the smiley-face emote, in any context whatsoever. I don't mind the other emotes; that one in particular enrages me for some reason. Maybe I'm just a psychopath :)
->Lag in any form, whether it's the server itself or just a single player.

...I won't go on, I'll just depress myself

I wish 20% of resources were restored upon death or something like coins. Builders have it tougher than anyone else.

Yes. Builders do seem to suffer the most from falling to their death.

I notice repeatedly that people complain about "Lucky shots" from halfway across the map. Sure, I bet they happen, but not nearly as often as most of you seem to think.
Firstly, why the hell would we be firing randomly over the horizon? Arrows aren't that easy to come by, time-wise, and I'm sure as hell going to make every one count.
Second, As soon as there is an enemy archer firing, it's not hard to gauge nearly exactly where that archer is sitting. Add to that the fact that archers often sit on the same fortifications as builders, and you have a steady kill-rate coming up.
Third, as long as there isn't a mutually impassable piece of terrain somewhere between the two teams, you can generally be pretty sure that the enemy lines are just a little bit beyond your own troops. Try keeping an eye on the mini-map, and you'll see what I mean.

And yes, these three simple techniques can probably account for 80% of the bowkata that you guys are seeing/receiving.

One thing I really hate is buying up my max of three bombs and then dying before I can use the last two or even the first! Waste of gold and gives the enemy bombs. This is why I buy one and then kill other knights for the other two.

Also finding out you managed to pick up a bomb after fighting a while and then dying. >.<

Wonkyth,I main an archer so I fully understand that firing randomly at horizont is pretty impractical, thus 1 km luckyshot is really rare, like 1 in 20 games...

...That's why it piss me off so hard when it actually happens and Im on receiving end :P

I know right? Im in the rear of my base at round start mining up resources and then a lobbed arrow smacks me out of no where. It will frequently kill me since I tend to fall a bit too far sometimes in my rush to build during setup time. I dont worry about healing up right away since I should be safe at the start of the round in my own base :P

When I have an abundance of arrows and Im to lazy to walk across the map or it is to dangerous I shoot over the horizon. I do get a lot of "lucky shots". More than I would think i would.
