    Can you figure it out?

    it is a bug. If you place ladders adjacent to a wall outside the caverns and then destroy the ladders, they will leave behind
    cave backgrounds.

    ---> --->

    If you place ladders (#) inside the cave bg [x], it will not consume wood!
