Favorite kinds of music?

Anything, but typically stuff within the triad of: French-House, Electronic and Pop is what I like the most.
So that would make some of my favourite artists; Gotye, Miike Snow, Booka Shade, Of Montreal, Seekae etc.

I listen to mostly everything, mainly various metal genres. There are too many of them to even count so I wont bother. What I could do, is to give you people a few examples.

Progressive metal:
Awesome project started by Arjen Anthony Lucassen from the Netherlands. Some damn awesome songs has been produced under the name that is Ayreon. If you want to know more about the history behind the music, then go and read this thread I made a back while ago. Just read it, no necroposting.

Power Metal
Hell yeah. Power metal from Germany, Gamma Ray, created back in in the late eightes by former Helloween member, Kai Hansen.

Melodic Death Metal
A relative new band from Finland formed back in 2001, then under the name of Zealot. During a period between 2004-2006 the band searched for new members and changes the name to Whispered. Their first and still only album was released in 2010.

I feel rather horrible for leaving out so many bands but I do believe that the above mentioned bands gives you a rough idea what I like to listen at. Then again, it is all situational. Metal is mainly for when I want to slay dragons. It does not work when I want to sleep.

I like it the hiphop music,more punctually the underground one and oldschool genre

 

I don't really have any favourite bands or alike. If music is well done, I like it. Music can be done well disregarding the genre (can it be called a genre?), some genres just tend to have more bad music than the others. I tend to prefer metal for unknown reasons. Only music that I hate is heavy rock or whatever is the name, it's just terrible, ear-raping screaming.

 

I have a confession to make....

I love the soundtrack to Madworld.... and it consists of mostly hip-hop/rap (Which is very odd considering my healthy history of classic rock, hard rock, metal, heavy metal, power metal, folk metal etc. etc. etc.)....

And I'm enjoying what Ive heard so far of the soundtrack from the games spirit sequel "Anarchy Reigns". (Sample)
