Forum Forum got upgraded to XenForo 1.4.3

Hey,

So after exactly an hour of upgrades the new and shiny XF 1.4.3 is here.
Since we skipped a lot of versions changelog can be found by following these links:

• 1.2.3
• 1.2.4
• 1.2.5
• 1.3.0
• 1.3.1
• 1.3.2
• 1.3.3
• 1.4.0
• 1.2.7, 1.3.6 and 1.4.1 (security)
• 1.4.2
• 1.4.3

I've also updated all the forum add-ons. The most important one is the resource manager. We were many versions behind as well. The most noticeable change about it will be dedicated icons for the resource. It will no longer use authors avatar. You'll have to upload your own custom icons. Author's avatar will be next to the resource's picture.

I've tested all the changes by myself on the local copy of forums. I didn't find any problems there but if such arise please reply below.

Great work Furai -- I want to specifically thank you for taking this task on and doing such a thorough job. As you know and I'm sure others have noticed, jrgp and myself have not been as available to work on THD infrastructure lately.

Furai went out of his way to do what needed to be done here, which included updating/maintaining his test instance of the forums and testing the upgrade procedure at least once or twice - including testing the updates of the add-ons and some custom code we have in place for authentication and other tweaks.

Keep up the great work, this is a significant improvement in our security and ability to maintain the forum infrastructure

And probably a lot more which I haven't spotted yet. I'm considering disabling it as it's not really worth my time to fix it...but I'll give it a try.

Adding social groups to post bit seems to be broken. You cannot anymore add additional groups. Maybe there will be update fixing it.

EDIT: Fixed the social secondary social forums part.

 

I've fixed many issues with xenfracture. Also added the missing resources images.

 

You're late to the party. It already did.

 

The forums now works on IE for anyone that cared.
