Know anywhere I can buy AOE II digitally?

 

Actually when I posted this on another site this same thing came up and we concluded that sadly you can't get AOE II as a download and AOE III just wasn't the same. :(

 

Yeah... Did some research after I posted and found out that Microsoft has no plans to release the game digitally at all >__<

Curse you Microsoft *shakes fist*

 

They love making stupid decisions to limit how much money they can make. Used to have so much fun with AoE1 back in the day on dialup internet with my cousin doing co-op. One of us would build and the other would scout/attack.

Well Microsoft may not want your money but THQ does so they teamed up with Albert Einstein and the good peeps at Wolfire to release the slightly less Humble THQ Bundle.

FWIW, Wolfire is no longer involved in Humble Bundle. They have no stake in it. :)

ALSO: Someone needs to set up a petition to get AOE II available via digital distribution!
Previously, i would have considered it pointless, but the fact that a petition for BF1942 to be available online came only months before said game being available FOR FREE makes me hope it can be done! :D

 

Fuck that I want AoE1 for nostalgia.

I'm against this petition because I would sign it a million times to ensure it got through and if AOE II or CnC Generals could be digitally downloaded I would explode with joy into a pile of soggy blood soaked confetti which in the long run would probably be bad for my health.

Also didn't relize Wolfire excused themselves from Hbundle.
When did that happen they still are the ones to upload the Humble trailers?
Did they excuse themselves because they are the weird uncomfortably human kind of people how actually want to do something for good and not for profit?
