    So here's my questions:
    Game style?
    So I did go through the prototype (and I loved it, btw) and it seemed somewhat like......Doom?
    Would the released game keep that vibe or would it be a bit different?
    Multiplayer?
    Couch co-op, online, straight no, etc.? Ideas to spread?

    And as always, my poll::P:

    Yes, it could be said that Butcher is a 2D reinterpretation of the '90s FPS classics such as Doom and Quake, though it brings some new ideas to the table as well.
    The full game stays very much true to the general vibe of the prototype - the basic mechanics and themes are the same, but everything's been improved and expanded upon since then. If you liked the prototype, you're sure to love the full game.
    We might consider some kind of couch co-op and other additional modes as a part of post-premiere support, but the initial release will contain only the single player campaign.

    I did a quick run of the demo the other day and it was good as. In terms of multiplayer, I think local co-op would be the best way to go as gunning some demon guys down would be a boat load of fun with a couple of mates. Maybe add some online co-op and pvp later on as I imagine that would be more difficult add.

    CoOp would do this game great, I don't think PvP should be a large focus if at all seeing how THD already has Trench Run and KAG.

    We think about some updates (DLC) after release, but PvP or netplay would probably require a standalone game to be developed.

    I like how people think it's that easy. Those are completely different engines and code bases. Hell it's even different language.

    Holy shit, you're a game dev genius! Wanna try doing it yourself? Just get Quake engine (it's free and open source), put Butcher graphics and send it to me. It's so simple, because what is balance and game design?
