I'm not saying it holds the only reason to do it, just that if something makes sense in the real world it wouldn't be a far fetched answer to the problem.

The realism part is stupid i agree, but making body's heavier is actually a good idea

This isn't even a problem, bodies can't do anything but maybe 1/4 -1/2 hearts of damage if you're lucky, and if you aren't sure if they're on your team, hit them anyways. There's no friendly fire after all.

it's just a mechanic with no disadvantages, it should have a balance.

It doesn't have any advantages either. You simply aren't paying attention if you get caught off guard by it.

it does have an advantage, the element of surprise, and although it is a meager 1/4 to 1/2 a heart it also has a small knock back.

Bombs do 3 hearts of damage, a lot of knockback, they're lying all over the battlefield, easily spam-able, and you can easily throw them like Peyton Manning a pro quarterback (Manning couldn't throw for shit tonight). Bombs are much more of a danger in my opinion, and are you hearing me or anyone complain about them?

Well I know this method for a while now and this destroyed my own tower...
I was red. I picked up a blue corp. I went back in my base and there wasn't doors but ladders ( Yea this were a really shit tower ). I climbed it and I realized all red knights of the battlefield followed me and at the same time a blue knight came with a keg and exploded the tower. .___.

  10. Losing 1/4 of a heart with no stun, only slight collision preventing you from moving through it doesn't put you at a disadvantage unless you're already up in their face. Honestly, considering knights can do two hearts per slash, 1/4 of a heart is nothing. The only way i could foresee this being frustrating is if you lose the velocity you've built up due to a corpse in your face, which lowers the priority of your slash over your opponents. But, honestly, you should be checking anyone holding a corpse anyway.

I want the ability to be able to stack bodies and carry them.

I would make piles of bodies, why, I might just make a body-FORT while I'm at it. Then I can sit in my body-fort, and watch the battle go on around me.

    Sigh... I can dream, can't I?

Mon dieu! Does anyone actually get killed by this amateur trick?

It is incredibly easy to counter this, one could easily edit the textures of KAG, use something like paint, or photo shop, make dead bodies partially transparent or something.
Then hop onto a server, some hapless fool comes trying to use this body trick on you, pretend to be fooled, then strike first, and volia!

Not only do you negate their Corpse-Camo (CC) advantage, you take their stuff, their heart and you get their corpse. Also you get to laugh at their confusion and act all cool.

Experienced players don't even need to use any texture editors, tbh, it really comes down to a bit of common sense.

Infinite it's just cheating, you can do things that others can't. Disable that, for fairplay at least..

Not against rules, negates noob tactics, makes KAG look better, Why not?

  15. Using texture packs in that way isn't really cheating, just poor sportsmanship.

I think adding weight to bodies could be a good idea.

Bodies do more than hide you and damage enemies when thrown.

They block doors, blow up mines, and feed sharks.

Adding weight slows down people who are carrying them.

When a spy disguises as a heavy, doesn't he also slow down?

That mechanic seems to work well.

Using poor sportsmanship to counter poor sportsmanship isn't poor sportsmanship if poor sportsmanship is the only thing that you are countering. In other words: To beat something, become it. Fight fire with fire.

Spies could still hide their speed by using shield sliding, as nothing much changes speed much while sliding... unless if the shield showed, but it would still be possible to hide that with the corpse with good control. Even if this was to be implemented, it would still be a long time before any update had this type of physics.

As of now, the three ways that I believe best to counter this is to:
    • Special texture pack, reveals everything. (My recommendation for people who don't care about unfairness.)
    • Check everyone who has your team color by slash them, although time consuming and makes you look like an idiot. (The dumb way.)
    • Or my personal favorite way (I don't actually use the other 2.) press [tab] once in a while to see who is on your team or not, and remember it. See somebody you know from [tab]? Remember which team they were on. If not yours, cut him down. (The smart way.)
Or you could just quit KAG, because you are too lazy to do any of these and complain about this unfair mechanic on forums when there are plenty of easy ways to counter this. Anyone who took the time to have a good think would have come up with good ideas.

You know, if you mouse over a teammate, you can see who they are from any distance? And you can't see who the other team members are unless they're right in front of you?

It rarely works to hide behind a corpse if players are paying even a little bit of attention. Unless you can somehow convince them with your movement as well, to the point where they won't even mouseover you. By then the element of surprise has been earned.

When I got bored playing Soldat, I used to change my character to all green so i could hide in bushes with a chainsaw and slash anyone who ran by me. I fully considered it to be trolling when I did it, I don't see how this si different. Sure, you can "spycheck" anyone carrying a corpse, but it's led to me wasting time and arrows shooting at my own teammates too. The fact that it also rewards certain heads doesn't help either. The archer's playing dead at least forces you to stay still and you cant charge attacks. Not to mention people using the headless exploit and carrying corpses just look like a corpse. (though that may be more an issue with the headless thing). Anyone saying "It's not broken because corpses don't do much damage" is completely missing the point here.
