In your eyes, what _small_ quality of life suggestions would vastly improve the game?

    I could live without most of the stuff in my first post in this thread(not having insta-captured siege and insta-exploding kegs would be nice though), but I just remembered a change I would really like.

    No more "boulder door drilling". Like really why hasn't that been gotten rid of yet? That stuff is messed up.

    As an admin, I'd prefer if names were always visible for me when in spectator mode. Specifically admins though, not normal players. Otherwise you could just switch to spectator, be like "Oh there's three red's under our base" then swap back to blue and kill them.

    Arrow fletching or regular arrows removed as a requirement for archers to attack would be nice.

    Yeah, but even if it makes triple bombs jumps slightly easier, it makes 4+ bomb-jumps so much harder.

    Well... I have no idea how to successfully perform either. ^.^

    but regardless, I think the other to reasoning I gave was sound, but I suppose it doesn't really matter. Anyway I'd prefer to be able to do it with boulders.

    In what way is this messed up? plz explen.

    @Darksteel: I think the issue that he and some others of us have with the odd boulder behavior is that it seems more like an exploit of current physics system limitations than an actual valid strategy. It isn't particularly sensical, even with the cartoon physics of this game, to throw a giant boulder by hand, and do more damage to the target person/object than you could with a more appropriate tool, like your sword. The 'not making sense' argument aside, as it is subjective, the boulder behavior grants undue power to an item that can be made at very low cost , at the bottom of the tech tree, and with very little resources. Also, its better at drilling than the drill!

    I can see how dropping a boulder from a high height would deal deadly and destructive damage, but throwing it at point blank range at an object is undermining other mechanics in the game, at least in my opinion.

    Exactly what Hierbo said. The boulders don't fit into real life logic and don't fit into game logic, ontop of being overpowered.

    It is hard to defend it as not being overpowered when it:
    -Costs 30 stone, the respawn amount for builders, thus mostly free.
    -Takes 1-2 hits to destroy an entire pair of STONE doors, more often 1 hit than 2 ontop of it, same with trap blocks and wood doors.
    -You can break through a set of 4 pairs of stone doors within 2 seconds, maybe less.
    -It breaks all these things while being literally pressed up against the door, or up to 4 blocks away.
    -It can be placed in your inventory, meaning it wont slow a player down.
    -Unlike a keg you can still fight while holding it, for some reason, and it can be thrown to do damage to enemies, so it is easy to safely transport to any enemy door you want.
    -It is already a combat weapon and can be used in catapults, why should it also be able to break down doors super fast.
    -The boulder is only damaged by pick or sword.

    Ever since someone put a guide out there on how to use boulders to their full potential it has been increasingly popular to use them on doors...but there are so many things showing how way too easy these are to use...And something needs done because I am getting quite tired of it.

    Okay, you make some good points, but I can make some counters for them too.


    -Costs 30 stone only in TTH where you are never given stone by the game itself (You get some if theres any in your hall.) Costs 35 stone in CTF where Builders only start with 30, not a huge difference or anything but you do actually have to mine to make one.
    -If your building doors easily accessible by Knights and b****ing about them being destroyed easy, build non-ground/non-easily accessible doors.
    -As apposed to the drill which can do that to every other block that a builder has placed. (again not exactly another point, but drills are way easier to do this with, as you can still use bombs with a drill in you inventory.)
    -Doing this removes a Knights bombs, Archers arrows, builders resources, a fair trade IMO, but nontheless there are drawbacks.
    -Throwing your door breaker at a knight is silly, you can only really carry one, and Knights destroy it pretty easily. And if you compare the destructive potential of a Keg to the abilitys of a boulder thats kinda silly.
    -As a combat weapon it is lacking, its only really good for dropping on your opponent, besides missing will get it destroyed a lot of the time. And true with Catas, but I have never seen this happen (Aside from the save the Princess thing.)
    -Also arrows, Sharks, bombs, kegs, bison.

    And if your referring to the Guide in the Knight section, it lists all the things to look out for, which are in turn, counters to the Boulder-dasher.

    For my part, what I'd really like to see is an reintroduction of the voice commands (obviously with some changed/additional commands, because in Classic there was never a "FOR THE LOVE OF CRUMPETS BUILD A GORRAM LADDER ALREADY, YOU TEN-COLOURED FOOL!" command, which always made me sad).

    And also, I guess, a really neato addition would be the ability to mark players and locations, both for your personal use and as a means of communicating to the team which objective you're trying for. Imho it would really help with organising plebs who otherwise never look at the chat. ;_;

    It would be nice if it was a little easier to cycle through different objects when trying to pick them up, I always find myself gradually edging away from a mine trying to pick up a corpse beside it.

    get rid of the ugly red arrows and shadows and icons that flicker and jitter as you're trying to build. In essence, make it like it was in classic. If you can't build somewhere, maybe show the ghost block as normal but make a no-build sound.

    Ever since playing MOBAs I've yet to find a game that I don't think would be enhanced greatly by pings. I think KAG could shine hugely here and it would become pretty core.

    Some of these have already been suggested, but I'll duplicate them anyway.
    1. Being able to see all names while in spectator
    2. Being able to "tag" players in your team so you can easily recognize them in the chaos
    3. Being able to rotate ALL items in your inventory with F, and being able to pull them out with space
    4. Ability to rotate siege engines with your mouse
    5. Ability to quickly destruct own siege engines in case they're about to get captured (apply explosive team dmg?)
    6. Less obtrusive HUD
    7. MOBA-like pings like BL said, but let it not nullify point 6.
    8. NO BOOM WHEN KEG IS SLICED PLOX
    9. PRIMING TIME FOR WATER AMMO PLOX

    Don't think kegs explode unless they were lit the normal way before being destroyed. At least in my experience, they just break otherwise.

    Other than that... dont stick a lit bomb in your pocket.. its stupid and can cause death. D;

    And btw, stop suggesting to nerf bombjumping!!! Why? Cause.... learn to be a builder and build a bigger god damn wall. Knights are only getting up into your base cause your tower isnt tall enough nor did your builders make said tower fast enough....
    The gomba stomp nerf on knights is alright since well.. it's getting kinda annoying to get pwned so easily by a falling knight... I mean seriously now... stahp it guys... stahp >:o

    What I would love to have nerfed however, is catapults + Knight + Keg.
    How? Remove paragliding shields when a knight carries a keg. Sure, they're carrying it on their back, but still.. a tad annoying to be sitting there, making your tower when suddenly WHAM... knight in your face with a keg. All he has to do is prime it, sit there and hold up his shield and try to survive as long as possible until he suicides... and drops your tower. Jihad everybody. Jihad... :I
