KAG is crippled by griefing

He's now DDOS'ing servers, he's a skiddie.

 

Came to the forum to see if anybody was talking about this. Devs should probably do something, otherwise the playerbase may clear out before the game is even in beta.

 

It wouldn't be bad if the server owners actually played, they can just find his connecting IP and block it entirely.

 

It is annoying when you try to play on a server then he crashes it. But kicking won't work as he will already have crashed the server by the time you click on the kick button.

 

He's doing something to crash servers now. Until this is fixed, I will no longer be playing KAG.

 

I'm getting immense satisfaction from people like sedge trying to be internet tough guy.
It's just so damn fun to listen to : )

All the servers are crashing after sedgewickbeavers_rager connects - it's not much fun to play a game that lasts 30 seconds before a crash cripples it.

 

You don't have to be angry about him, he is doing this because he has a tiny penis. You would do the same in his place.... :)

Anyway if the dev needs server data (his ip?), logs or any information just send me an email!

P.S. the most funny thing is that he is trying to make us believe he actually have a friend doing that with him. But he's alone...

 

Well, he had his share of fun but it looks like he got bored after about 10 minutes (no wonder, since he doesn't actually PLAY and enjoy the game). If he starts crashing servers again - just leave for a while and rejoin some time later. Although by then there will probably be one or two beaver-proof servers anyway.

Server owners: check the server logs for his IP. If you see something like "762f7eae" - it's IP in HEX form (use this to convert it to actual IP: http://www.silisoftware.com/tools/ipconverter.php). Once you find his IP - just block it.

He may be ruining the fun now, but oh well, he's just another troll, you and I have seen a plenty of those. Once the problem is fixed - he'll never be remembered again, while the game will keep improving and gaining more players.

The only goal here is to notify the creator and encourage steps be taken to prevent troubled people from spoiling the game for others. No need to post any further reports, the necessity of it is clear =)

In the meantime, I highly recommend those of you who can afford it buy Terraria and enjoy a similar brand of sidescrolling creative/destructive entertainment. Group together and grab some fourpacks from steam, run your own servers - servers are private IP connections rather than list-browsed so people like Sedgewickbeavers can't vent their troubles on you there.

103.166.90.14 is what an owner of a different server found, so he probably has a dynamic IP.

Doubt it is dynamic, those are completely different addresses. I'd also like info about the DDOS attacks from the servers so that I can contact his ISP and get his ISP to drop his ass.

But hey, if he stops now I wont have to go that far.

 

I haven't seen him in a while, maybe he gave up or I'm just not seeing him. But this is annoying me more now as I'm playing on maps I like and then boom crash.

The size of someone's junk doesn't usually have anything to do with what they do, unless it involves buying bright red convertibles however.

He's just a person who's completely missing how to play this game.

 

Well, I think we can rule out that AUS residential address if he's still online.
