Sirendgame: To make sure the red traitor didn't make any ruckus for the day, as I actually like to go out in public sometimes, belive it or not, I made him ingest some powerful sleep toxin.

Should last a week or four.

I trav3ed along a detour in the sides of the rocks, taking me to the bazaar. My business was with the candle salesman, but not to buy a scented candle for my tenant.

    I walked in, asking:

"Got any ridiclously large vats of hot wax?"

Sure enough, he did, and I got them at discount.

As I was walking back to the grotto with containers CLEARLY marked "Dangerous: Do Not touch", a few children attempted to peek at their contetns and take some of it. One burnt his finger off trying.

I stored the containers, and undrugged the guest.

Ulric: Oh god, the idiot who goes by the name of 'Noc' has lied to me... "Can't possibly take you on eh?" I've slaughtered legions of orcs, slashed through armies of zombies, now I've killed a giant and defended an entire castle from it. Oh, and I saved your life. Now give me the gold you promised me and I'll leave 'quietly', only slaughtering a few dozen civilians in the nearby village of Octtongue. Otherwise...
(sorry i took a while, have to sleep you know :))

(Measly Traitors! I go to bed, and then you start! I shallt have my revenge!)
Trae: Having just woken up from bed, i go to consult the generals at The Bridge. (The war is starting, yes?)
It truly looks depressing. The south is a unified rule, with a generally more warlike population. Even though Noc is a dictator, word of dissent from the general populace are few. Luckily, the more liberal and open north, have some more "exotic" resources to draw upon. Before i visit the headquarters i visit one of these.
It is a elven mage that have agreed to come and help the war against the oppresive Noc. Few of his kind exsist, but they truly will make a difference once the battle is joined. Even if he only, so far, has agreed to act as a healer.
I try to persuade him, but he is evasive, as most elves is. I continue towards the headquarters, troubled by the dire odds.

(Dylan, precautions are precautions. I don't even know the traitor's NAME yet.)
SirEndgame: My teanant was fairly shocked to learn that he slept for 16 hours. I didn't mention it was an unnatural sleep, but hey, it got rid of the bags under his eys, so all is well.

I invited him to come to the bazaar with me, so we can discuss who he is, why he is here, and when he is going to move on from the grotto.

The bazaar - a hectic place of activity, muggers, noisy salepeople, and the occasionally flimsy product. We went into the bazaar tavern to have some well-deserved meat. I was working all day on the Siege machine, and I'm assuming he sprinted all the way across the bridge connecting the North and South.

"whaddya buyin?" said a voice oddly like the Mega64 one.

"Meat, lots of it." Spoke the guest, and within the hour, the food arrived.

I took a sip of wine.

"I'm sorry I neglected to ask before, but what is your name?" I spoke, with one slightly raised eyebrow.

"Name is Erego. Pleasure to meet you, man I met 2 nights ago." he said jokingly, shaking my hand.

All of a sudden, the doors swung open, and a group of red ruffians marched in.

    "BEER!" they proclaimed.

(no, i didn't mean to be offensive, i just ment that knocking people out with potions and toxins made of stale milk MAY be considered by some people as 'antisocial'. Though I can't really talk, I'm a mad axeman who kills and eats horses for fun :p Also letting children burn their fingers off is strictly against The Royal Health and Safety Act (Which covers an entire library's worth of books on the subject))

Hella: After travelling for some time, I finally arrive at the gates of the Bridge, the name that has been applied to the mighty Blue fortress that watches over the connecting land between he two rival continents; I rap my fist upon the gate of aged oak, awaiting a reply. After several moments, a sentry peers over the battlements.

"What are you doing here, old man? We have orders to let no civilians through until the land bridge is secure!"
"I am here to see the Lord Trae. If you do not open these gates for me immediately, I will scale these walls and greet him unnanounced, something likely to cause detrimental effects on those who were to keep watch. Am I clear, Laddie?"

All I hear are the sentry's running feet echoing against the hard granite walls, and I scratch my beard until the gate groans open. Not long ago it was a black beard with grey streaks; now it is grey with black. I begrudgingly begin my ascent of the towering citadel that dominated the fortress, making my way to the keep.

I knock before entering the quarters of the Lord Trae, before entering.

(HAH HA! My Nemesis is slowly, but surely, dying! Soon a time will come where I am the greatest warrior that ever lived, a time where I will not be on par with an old man! A time where the entire world will belong..... TO ME!!! Also I have cookies.)

You are indeed correct, I am far stronger than you can possibly hope to achieve. I am the Bane of the Gods. I am the Curse of the Windswept Isles. I am the devastator of the Southern Wastes. I AM ULRIC THE BLOODTHIRSTY!!! And what are you? A crippled old man with a pathetically pleasant heart and morals. You are nothing, weak before even my cat (titanium coated lion) and pet badger (Chimera of the Southern Wastes)!

A servant intercepts Hella as he enters the quarters. This person, unlike all those youngsters, is an aged manservant, loyal to Arthur. He almost faints when he see the famous, and indeed, infamous axeman, but he reverently informs Hella Traes current position.

Hella: The young officer who gave me directions to these rooms neglected to tell me that Trae was consulting his generals in the headquarters. I grunt, before thanking the manservant, and heading on my way. Upon arrival at the headquarters, I walk confidently through the double doors, seeking the knowledge of the current plans for the fort.

Hella enters as the generals and Trae are perusing the view on The Bridge. Nocs host is massive, even compared to the armies of the King.
Trae: Suddenly, the main entrance to the meeting room is banged open, and in strides a barbarian in flesh.
My jaw drops, as the man, utter muscle, takes the room, confident in his prowess. One of the less.... taciturn generals speak up, damanding the guards seize that madman, before he harms anybody. Only the wizened Grand-General Garan Rochester recognize the barbarian. I listen, surprised, as the General recounts Hellas deeds.

I doubt a barbarian such as he, can be as noble as Garan says, but i accept it grudgingly. The rest of the generals begin to look uncomfortably at Hella, waiting for him to speak, revealing his motives.

Trae: I step forward, trying not to cringe at the mans utter lack of tact.
"As of now, i am in charge of the defense against the evil Noc."
    In an afterthought, i add.
"Even though you are most famous and able, if my math is correct, you are over sixty years old! How come you want to battle again, especially after your disappearence over some twenty years ago!"
Even though a hero like him is good for the morale of men, and he maybe actually will be useful in battle, i turn to consult my generals. I need to make the North as ready as possible.

Hella: "I have already spoken to the men you have garrisoned here. A mere 10,000 overall, and it seems that at least most of them speak of this fortress as doomed. Old Arthur made a mistake, reducing the army in the times of peace; since no reinforcements are forthcoming in the near future, we have only one option, to train the men that you already have, and prepare them for the coming war. We have to hold until we have more men!"

Ulric: Ha! To think he thought he had a chance against me, good thing he paid me the money before things got....nasty. He has even enlisted me into his army, for a fee of 5000 gold coins of course! I still find it odd that his army numbers 100's of thousands at the Bridge of the Great Divide, yet his 'royal highness' was guarded by a mere 40. Strange... I don't even know who the traitors were for Utgard's (Newly elected god of chaos, destruction, and general nastiness) sake! Still, let his 'Exalted Excellency' worry about those traitors. I'd better get to the bridge to help these bumbling morons. Honestly, I don't even see what, whats his name again.... Trae, has to worry about! Wait.... whose that running towards me? Oh, it's a Red Knight, he better not be a traitor. For his sake.
