KAG Tournament

Hey everybody I'd encourage re-reading a largely updated OP.
It's got details of the time and structure.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY:
I really want to talk with the community in IRC, so please join and just idle or converse if you can.
That way we can discuss what seems like a good/bad idea

About teams:
It's 3-man teams, but I'm allowing a single listed sub (that means no grabbing a random guy :P)
Thiel's application for BoW teams influenced me :3

Update: we currently have 4 registered teams and 3 possible teams. I want to see many more teams registering for this tournament. The following teams are yet to register:

Fellere, Terrydactal, Beef

Jackal, AJ, BlueLuigi

Team BACON

These teams, and any other teams that wish to join, must register by December 16 or they will not be able to participate in the tournament.

We from Young Blood Collective have decided to donate a Gold Account as a prize for this tournament!

 

Um, how'd the gold account be served then? Since it is a 3-man team, it could cause some troubles.

 

Uh, just looking at the current rules for this thing... I'm having a hard time imagining a best of 3 game of RDM being fun. To be honest, I rarely even take RDM games seriously, they're just sort of a quick and fun thing to do here and there. But then, a best of 3 game has the potential to last only a couple minutes, and whether you be good or not that just doesn't make for a fun game, and I'd have a hard time convincing my team to get together to play a game that will hardly last 5 minutes. If we are to do RDM, I think a better option would be to make it first team to reach 10 victories, or something to that effect.

A Japanese server would make a great middle-ground server

 

Does every player have to have his own permanent class? I mean won't it be possible to exchange classes with each other during the game?

 

There is no set class for each player, each player can freely change class at any time, which enables different combinations of troops.

 

Middle of what?

 

Middle ground meaning equal lag for everyone generally. As most players are from Europe and America.
