Greetings, Kami server.
Is this the thread where i post about cordial request on ban-removal
If not would like a link or information on where to reach said topic.

"Did i just get banned without prior warning for my actions,
that seemed like i was griefing but trying to fix the tower that someone
else messed up when i was yelling "griefer" 2min earlier myself?"

Reason: because tower was built in front of 4 rows of trees
(stone-stone-stone-door-stone-stone-door...) and the height
is hard to climb up when you're carrying an outpost.

After saying "oh fuck it" when i started planting down trapbridges upward
in front of the trees (field looked like bridge-tree-tree-tree-tree-tower...).

I would guess there aren't many moderators/admins supervising,
waving their clout asking for explainations prior to banning.

I suppose when they are available, they're stressed from banning
folks non-stop because CTF with great and fun maps attract too many
annoying asses.

Not all Kami admins are like that. Centurion is ok. Haven't seen Retrofit yet on the server, but he also seems to be cool.

It's true what you wrote. Others are afraid to make a decision. Today was the admin but did not react to what happened. Not the first time.

Kurokitty why it's taking so long to do sth with this problem? How much time must elapse before something happen? Kami server is like a paradise for griefers right now.. The best part is that we can write about it but nobody wants to help us..

Btw. I've seen status bars of the Kami admins and most of them didn't played the last few days... SAD

 

@Corundum, do you know who banned you? If not, would you mind to upload the log of that round?

@RadioActive, Europeans usually sleep at the time when he complained about the ban.

@Corundum, thanks, I'll look into them. -EDIT- It must've been a pingban, since you're not any longer being listed as being banned and no admin was on the server at the time you got banned.

@Chumind, how about you call guards in the IRC or record and report them yourself?

 

@Galen I know that, but our problems with griefers occurs all the time. All we want is the new admins.
No one takes our requests seriously. Only Retrofit recommended a few players, but that's all what he can do. It's f***** sad that one of the good (popular) servers is so neglected.
A couple of times I asked for help the guards on IRC (Thanks to Master), however I think it's a job for Kami admins. Not all people want to record video evidence. Screenshots are unfortunately not sufficient for the Guards.
In the last days many times I was forced to ragequit Kami server and join to your or Clemo's b'cause I know that there are admins online.

You can join this server any time you want and just start to ban griefers.. Zaeba - well know griefer, Yesterday he griefed our towers and blocked tunnels. Also he started to spam on the chat as spectator.

@Kurokitty: Hi, I am looking to mount a KAG CTF server like yours but with unlimited lives. My question is how do you modify the files so that anybody (premium or non-premium users) could join the server and use all the workshops? I ask you this because it is obviously the case in <Kami CTF Holy vs Dark>... but I can't currently understand how you do this because I tried to set the gamemode to FullCTF and this is preventing non-premium users from joining.

I finally got the way how to do this, in the case some people would like to know, I have set my server to normal CTF mode and I have modified the file located in [...]\KAG\Base\Entities\Rooms\CTF_room.cfg in order to add more or less all the workshops. At the end of the file, I have replaced the content by this content.
