Frankly, it saddens me to hear that people are arguing over wether this is "a kid's game" or not. ITS REALLY QUITE ANNOYING!!!
In my opinion, this is neither a kids nor an adults game, anyone can play it, whatever age, it just depends on their beliefs, values and (if they are a child) their parents guidance. ultimately, no one should be telling anyone wether or not to play a game, guidance is fine, but not strict 'U NO PLAY!'.

Unless they are a child and its an age rated game that is way above their age.

That's interesting, sounds like a 26 year old Brilly has to put the fear of God in these kids, who in my opinion, don't have the patience to learn the nuances of knight combat.

Can we just settle that this is an E for Everyone rated game? The closest this game can get to T for Teen ratings is the cussy little keyboard warriors who mingle amongst themselves on the servers.

    Okay, I have one single argument for why this isn't a kids game, and why children have no business even using the internet;

Uuuh, 10+, why not. Let the clone troopers play knight class, that's cool. :D

Kids will still play it, I guarantee you that. If there are kids in CoD, there'll be kids here. Raging. All over. :D

Shit, don't you guys remember the whole Hot Coffee mod fiasco with GTA San Andreas (I believe it was)? It's not a kids game, but kids get their grubby mitts on it. While KAG has the appearance of a child's game, the unfiltered chats, buildings, etc. are not child friendly. I'm not a babysitter, so why should I have to cater to children? ESPECIALLY since I'm not being paid for it? I'm a grown up. I work, I pay my bills, I bought the game with my own money, so I shouldn't have to walk on eggshells because kids are around. Plain and simple.

Of course, some of them just won't apply themselves to learning how to knight well, but for the ones that do they are at a distinct neurological advantage to us older-types.

I can see that, I have to actually go test things when I'm getting back into knight again. The first time or two I picked it up easily, since the changes well I've been finding myself having to do some 'research' to fully understand it.

Your information is useful and certainly relevant, even though it seems to be something people don't want to discuss.

KAG is for all ages no matter what. People have fun playing the game at every age.

under 7 is where people should not play KAG everything over that is fine with me, all they have to be is nice and not grief and I'm happy. :)

I agree with what guro said earlier, while kag is not ment to be a kids game, the amount of kids playing makes it feel like a kids game. I think its not the game itself that is for kids, but more of the community. Not the forums of course, most of the people who use the forums are mature enough. But the amount of kids in-game gives off a childish impression of the game. In my opinion of course.

This post is so wrong I don't even know where to begin. The whole idea of games needing to fall into certain age categories is stupid.

It does not matter what the games age restriction is, it is going to end up in the hands of kids. Mostly by parents who don't give a fuck what their kids do. I once saw a mother buy red dead redemption for her 9 year old kid. And that game has alot of gore and a sex scene. I confronted the mother on the subject and she told me to piss off. :L My point is that this day and age the age restriction does not matter. Unless maybe you stick a 30+ sticker on it and label it as ultra porn. (Please do that kag team.)

Yeah, the thing is though, with movies and games and whatever, there is not a strict system in place. There probably shouldn't be, but when you go on multiplayer games with kids and they start raging and swearing, it's like... "Who raised these beasts?"

I suppose Second Life took a step in the right path with the Adult and Underage servers, but there's nothing to stop people just saying they're 18 and whabam.

That's bad parenting not the video games themselves. I think its okay to give someone of a young age a game like GTA because GTA is fun, I would give rules like "No saying whatever you hear in this game, no punching people unless you want them to punch back harder" though.
Some children just need a good ass beating with a belt.
