Update time!

Been working on adding a server list using the KAG Gold API. For now and probably when I release it, it'll show up a placeholder page that looks like this :p:



Also added more buttons and I'm currently working on a custom user manual.

Feedback as is always greatly appreciated and helps me improve my work.

 

On the main screen with the updates, are you going to add a border like in the concepts? Links to the blogs would be cool too. :) Excellent job. Will this also be compatible with the new Premium version when it comes out?

Please, Just start a place in the comics with false updates. the only reason i ever come back to this thread is to read the hilarious "Build Update" things. xD

 

Maybe you could could make the new into a button, when you click it, it spreads across the page or when you hover over it. Then there is room for more button's like, BUILDS, FORUMS, WIKI, DEVBLOG etc. Maybe add a button saying 'What the community has to say'.

 

Probably going to add in "plugins", where people can develop apps for this client that extends the functionality.

I'm not liking the idea of the PLAY and BROWSE SERVERS on separate button's it doesn't make sense.

 

Probably will remove the PLAY button since I don't think KAG has any argument or other methods to launch the game directly.

 

good idea they literally mean the same thing

 

There is it's called "Change Profile Info".

 

Big update 12/5/2012

I decided that this will no longer be a client, but more of a tool! I don't think I'll be able to fully integrate this into KAG, but I hope it's still useful. Here is the new design:



In the screenshot, I am currently showing the IRC Chat app. With the new layout of icons, people can develop apps for this tool. You might also have notice I remove the wrench icon in the top right corner, now it's a tile icon in the apps menu. Where it once was is now where the sidebar mode icon is. What does it do? Well, this is what it does:


The "minibar" is a collapse version of the tool. This let's you run it next to KAG (if you're running it in window mode) without it getting in your way.

What do you think of the new design? Comments are always nice :)

I am here to announce a somewhat small update. Now the KAG Tool can be use in game! It currently works best in non-fullscreen mode and I also made the mini mode smaller.

Now I got one problem, I need a name for this app. If you got any ideas, please post it ;)

I thin you should make a tool for the editor as well.
