Attacking running, sprinting, rolling, etc takes stamina, but it also slowly charges, if you're not doing anything it charges fast.

Actually I should take that back I don't think it would work good in KAG like that.

I wish I played before clashing.

Similar to "clashing will stun knights", I would like to test a game with normal attacks going slightly slower (like the builder breaking stone). AFAIK, the results of this are:

    -knights kill slower in general
-shielding is better for defense than clashing
-timing is more important in combat in general
-builders do worse against knights (their attacks would be slower too)
-knights without bombs are easier to flee from in many situations (run toward allies)

I don't know if this will change the one vs many situation.

I also think the ability to jump around quickly is unrealistic, but it works well for the purposes of the game.

    The Clash of Swords

I want to feel the clash of swords. Behind each click, the power of my will. My teeth clenching as I raise my shield and brace for impact. I want every movement to be steps of a desperate dance., the saloon: this bitter conflict where flags are not what they seem. With every respawn, a gap for anxiety, for there is so much at stake...

I think the biggest problem with the extraordinary power of knights is both their bombs and bombjumping ability. The horizontal distance a knight can travel is just innane. Bombs should not be 1HKO when within range; their damage should scale depending on distance to the bomb at the time of explosion. Knights should be able to protect teammates from explosions using their shields, too.

I'd also be happy for bomb throwing distances to be reduced, or give them drag like arrows now have.

    Neat and Contrary like this.

Yeah, and it should deal only 1 heart damage against archers when they lie down.

But please don't touch the bomb velocity.

I like everything you said but bomb throwing distances. I can't aim a bomb through single squares anymore even with the fat-off arrow so theres been a nerf to precision aiming. It doesn't matter if I hit the hole the bomb just bounces off a square above or below it even if the sprite doesn't hit them at all. A nerf to throwing distances is pretty big. Don't forget that enemy knights are no longer as affected by your bombs as they were before since they can actually jump on uncooked ones.

It's not so much the precision of the bombs, but the knight's supreme ability to throw a bomb high over a wall, killing defenseless builders and archers. Variable bomb damage would fix this though.

I'm pretty happy with the current bomb mechanics. It's definitely not something to spend a lot of time on right now.

If they reverted back to the old bomb velocity, I'd be all for it, but we know that's not gonna happen.
