Lag when player joins

    Hi, I have been having a problem with my server for almost 2 weeks now. Every time a new player joins the server has about a 2 second freeze. It is very frustrating because people drop in and out a lot, This never used to happen.

    I am running my sever through gshosting (jrpg), Running mods. Whenever a new player joins the console gets spammed with this over and over.

    It's just the player downloading the mod from the server, it's on every server with mods.

    just like wormy said, this is just the player downloading the mod. do you know of you are the only one feeling the lag when a player joins? could it be that this issue has to do with your client and not the server?

    Yeah I asked some people, one person replied yes and another replied no, but who knows. If it was happening before i noticed, It wasn't nearly as much.
