Nerf these assholes

So annoying playing archer. If you stay close, they take you in one hit, if you go a distance, its a bomb to the face (one hit kill). They dominate way too hard in one to one combat. Yes, as an archer, I have taken out a number of knights in one-on-one's, but it seems anything more than that, it's only really worth spamming random shots into the sky to get kills.

These guys have most health, only one's with immunity to EVERY fucking THING with shield and can one hit every god damn class (INCLUDING THEMSELVES)

Blue_Tiger, just to let you know im pretty sure the devs dont work on this game and have their focus on beta, I see that your pretty new here and welcome, I started on April 2012 and Have learned how to keep these knights away, If you would like tips feel free to PM me.

Watch Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann if you want to understand. (It's considered the best anime by A LOT OF PEOPLE, and one of the characters wears these glasses and he's so fucking manly. That's why everyone is wearing them. Manliness. )
Anyway, is this about Beta or Classic?

 

For Classic, there won't be any changes. Ever. All you do as an archer is sit in a tower and snipe, and close the door if arrows and bombs come flying towards you. Eventually you'll be good enough to fight up close, stun knights just before they blow themselves up, etc, etc.

For release version of KAG use you grappling hook to move around more. Usually let's you go fast enough to run away from anything.

In release, an archer's job is to prop doors open and let enemies through, walk into obvious mines, fall out of their perches, and ignore everything behind them while charging their shots. But as infiniterising said, you have a multitude of hand-holding gimmicks to protect you from harm no matter how little skill you have.

 

I don't think the developers even touch classic now days.
