    Except that the tricks they employ are A: easily detectable and B: easily disarmable. If you're a builder vs a builder and you die, that's not imbalanced because its the same class against each other. Archers shouldn't be in close combat anyway.
    They can totally manipulate the terrain, the other two classes can't do that. But do they have a shield which blocks pretty much everything? No. Do they have long range attacks? No, not unless you count catapults which EVERYONE can use(even an archer so long as its stocked up). Terrain manipulation is their role. Don't take it away from them lest you want to nerf the archers bow and the knights shield.

    Sani, Geti already said the ability to throw blocks will be removed in the future and replaced with a contraption.

    Also if you are an archer and you get killed by a builder you messed up... Anyway, I wouldnt mind if the builder had no attack at all, it's nearly useless anyway.

    About terrain manipulation: that's what this game is about so I have no idea how anyone can complain about it.

    If you are an archer in the open field engaging in close combat you are doing something wrong.

    I doubt anything will ever convince you ;)

    They can't (when stone dropping is removed) and are definitely not overpowered. They have the right to fortify themself in a tunnel, because while you jump in the game being able to do stuff instantly, they gotta go and find resources to gather to be useful at all. Suicide runs to ladder up a mountain shouldn't be the sole purpose of builders, you know...

    This is how I play when I'm not being a super KD tryhard. I've made pretty sneaky captures blitzing through and sprinting up their wall.

    This is KAG:

    The objective of KAG is to get past your enemies defenses to steal their flag or destroy their outpost.
    This is achieved in 3 ways:

    -making a tunnel below the tower.
    -making a "skybridge" above the tower.
    -suicide bombing the tower until it falls.

    I agree with everything Findude said about the Archer in the other thread. You know; slower charge times, faster arrow speed etc.

    @Vania: I just witnessed that now. I think terrain needs to be quite a bit tougher and combat needs some changes. People of opposite teams colliding with each other would make rushing far more easily addressed - I can't stand getting rushed past in the corridor and then never being able to catch the fool because he's going at the same speed.

    same speed, this gave me the idea why not adding to knights and archers a sprint skill?! 3 second duration, every 15 seconds!? this would be epic... so u could catch others using sprint, sprint may should be disallowed for flag wearer then, so others have option to get him !

    the gold_concentration parameter in mapgen configs does not seem to function at all. Compared two maps with the value set to nothing and then 50, no change.

    I wonder if you've though of giving archers the ability to pick door locks or jamming opened ones with arrows.
    Either way, the knight's stunning crap has to go as soon as possible.
    Still waiting for knight's shield stamina bar.
    The flags are too close to spawns = total domination necessary for capture and escape.
    Enemy knights are too difficult to kill with one archer but too easy with 2 archers. Shields are overpowered by default.
    Knights have too many functions compared with other classes. Remove some or give more to others.
    Invulnerability while standing in tent has to be removed as soon as possible.
    Lack of arrows, takes too much time to gather enough.
    Too short respawn times especially noticeable with >30 players.
    No class besides archers should be able to loot arrows.
    Bombs are overpowered in terms of damage to terrain.
    Suicide bombers should explode but not affect surroundings.

    Stunning is stupid smelly poo-poo and has to die. I don't think knights or archers should have it. Especially archers.

    I think shield stamina might be cool, but I think they're breakable enough right now. I'd be interested in a slight put up and maybe a take down delay. I don't think any action besides movement should happen instantaneously. Much more strategy when you have to plan ahead a bit more and could reward knights for shielding other knights.

    Enemy knights are decently easy to kill with archer is your ping is less than 100 higher than theirs and you have fairly even ground, maybe with some walls to scale.

    I know a lot of people aren't really into archer CQC, but its still a good way to circumvent shields as it always has been. Also it's about a zillion times as fun as long range support when it works.

    I don't think knights should have more utility. I think archers should gain some.

    Invincibility in tents is garbage, people deserve to get spawnkilled as if there castle has been blown open the game should be over.

    Lack of arrows is bad, lots of discussion before with Neat et al. But I think instead of only allowing archers to loots arrows teamies should be able to give arrows to archers and every class should spawn with arrows (and bombs) on their body.

    I think spawn times should scale with player counts or servers should be more in the 10-20 range.

    Spikes doing damage and stunning when you hit them from the SIDE is garbage. I'd rather them instakill head on then do damage from the sides.

    Having a silhouette option (showing the cross sections) to turn on to show where the builder can build would be helpful.
    Stunning in a game where the players often times lag is very annoying and automatically gives people with better ping an advantage. The controls for the builder just seem so clunky and when selecting a building option through the image queue it often times selects the next icon instead of the one I clicked.

    I think new players should default as builder. Even bad knights help more than bad builders and knight is a lot simpler to be adequate at.
