    Man vig I love how you think anything is going to be changed with that sort of attitude. I'm sure all a game developer wants to hear to get him motivated is how much of a fuck-wit he is like you're suggesting. If you're going to be like that there's no stopping him from leaving everything well alone just to prove you wrong, not that he would because he seems a nice enough guy. But still, you need to take a chill pill and try and say in more polite terms that you're really pissed off, even if that seems a little contradictory.

    I really appreciated the support, vig. but frankly this is MM (and Geti's) game, and they can do whatever they want, in spite of what we think. Please don't talk like that. If not for respect of the fact that they've created this game we love so much, at least for the fact that it won't help the movement.

    What happened to the archer?my aim feels very different since the last time I played(Ive been away for some time),if I aim in front of me and charge it all the way,the aim goes up :S

    You may be suffering from the squashed HUD problem - can you be more specific about what you're seeing?
    Do you get a similar problem with block placement as a builder?

    Can someone please set up a euro server for the test build or something? I understand its only the test build but for me its unplayable when the server is in the us, lag prevents me from ever getting any damage on anyone or getting completely random kills. I think a lot of people from the EU will agree. Plus i'm closer to the US than most of the EU!

    In the new build, archers seem very powerful, even at close range against a knight. Just not long ago I killed 3 knights in less than 10 seconds at very close range.

    Well then those knights were quite dumb or didn't concentrate enough. Knights are very powerful now at close range. And knight vs. knight finally makes much more fun. :)
    I wrote down a list of suggestions/bugs/etc. while playing today on the testbuild. (There still is one way to make skybridges. :p) Will post tomorrow though (I'm tired).

    Oh and we should propably use the Test build-thread since this one is about new stable-version builds.

    I disagree with you Illu, but you were owning my ass as a knight, even though that was probably to do with ping. I still think knights are spammy now and the charge attack is not very good, but then I haven't played the test build that much because of the server being in the US. I don't know I guess I just feel something is still wrong here...

    In previous builds,the arrow went exactly(almost) the way the mouse was pointing at,now it just weird...I point here -------> the arrow goes up o.O

    You have the squashed HUD bug. Its fixed in the test build.

    - added mandatory game accounts
    * player nickname is the same as account user name
    * added optional clantag in main menu Player settings


    - Archer changes:
    * offscreen arrows deal only half damage
    * removed blocked jumping when bow fully charged
    * added arrow ladders (archers can climb their own arrows on a wall)
    * archer full charge is faster
    * arrow gravity and maximum speed changed
    * archer charge decharges when after reaching maximum point
    * archer charge bar appears on mouse cursor
    * arrow leaving archer is properly positioned
    * added knockdown period for arrow hit
    * arrow damage changed:
    * slow arrow deals half heart damage
    * charged/fast arrow deals 1.5 heart damage


    - Knight changes:
    * changed knight sword mechanics
    * 2 hits available: quick jab (1 heart), charged swing (hold fire button; 2 hearts)
    * hitting with charged swing stuns the opponent for a moment
    * charged knight jumps lower
    * knight has same movement speed as archer and builder
    * new knight sword strike animations and sounds
    * knight can only dig with fully charged swing
    * shielded knights always pushes other players in the shield direction
    * new ability to climb shielded upwards knight

    - Builder changes:
    * builders can't penetrate knight armor
    * building is delayed and requires builder to stand still
    * added possibilty for builder to drop castle block
    * builder square cursor is always drawn
    * added repairing destroyed parts (takes always half of full block materials)
    * increased builder build radius
    * builder sees more into the map

    * earn points for: building, killing, capturing/returning flag
    * lose points for: suicide, mining structures
    - fixed resolution changing when desktop is the same size as window

    - players have less acceleration on ground

    Clan tags are messed up, they put two brackets in front instead of one so it looks like this:

    In my opinion clantags shouldn't put any extra brackets at all - it's up to clan how their tag should look like. It should just work like prefix added to name - only extra text specified in menu.
