    Oh yeah also: item weight will be a thing once items are a thing. Bombs will be heavy.

    Perhaps. We'll find a balance that works. The units are fairly arbitrary at the moment, that'll probably change as we tackle the item engine. Perhaps servers will be able to tweak weights as well, though I'd probably prefer to think of them as measures of encumbrance. A bag of rocks is more or less easy to transport. You'd be more encumbered by the same volume of live crabs even though they'd be lighter.

    Stacks will be based on total encumbrance -> bombs might stack to 3 while stone might stack to 50.

    Actually, perhaps weight and encumbrance should be separate - that way we can slow people down based on weight and limit stacks based on encumbrance. So you can run fast while juggling a small number of live crabs, or slowly toddle home under a tonne of stone.

    I think that for the purpose of class balance juggling live crabs should make you run faster.

    The option of putting the crabs in catapults should also be an option. Crabapult, ala Cortext Command.

    That could be funny nod to CC. If you accumulate more than 200 crabs everyone on the maps has their head explode.

    The option to mold armor out of the crab's shell as upgrades should also be a viable feature to consider. Crabs should also be a biological weapon as the discomfort of the crabs in the crotch slows enemy combatants down.

    Storage crab?

    I appreciate the crab bomb jokes but something like that is unlikely to happen. Perhaps crabs that mimic the appearance of the crabs in CC lurking around the water. I'm more for subtle nods rather than blatantly copied mechanics. You want crab bombs? Go create some, in cortex command.

    Maybe we should have it like Battlefields tickets, by destroying outposts/killing enemies the enemy team loses tickets. Once those are out they lose the game.
