Windows Ping jumps around 30 units constantly

    Playing through steam sync, nothing downloaded, reset TCP/IP protocols, rebooted modem, etc. It's not my network, but for whatever reason when playing my ping is constantly switching between...say 60 (as listed on the server browser) and 90.

    The ping is calculated in ticks. a tick is 33ms so if your ping is between 2 and 3 ticks it will keep jumping between 66 and 100 :)
