Finally finished touching it up. Here's my submission:


The frail light of the silver moon shined bright
And all across the kingdom people slept.
Sleep they would, ‘till up the darkness crept
And wakened them, screaming in their fright.

The evil born of earth and death and hate
Had bone to pick with all our peaceful days.
So the living dead came stumbling on their way
And fell upon our walls and sturdy gate.

The bowmen shot, and Knights came rushing down
Into the dark to slay the demon spawn.
We hoped that we could last ‘till rays of dawn,
But likely we would in these corpses drown.

The captain of the guard gave us a sign
To form our ranks and brace ourselves to fight.
We knew that we would not see morning’s light.
But we’d prove ourselves this night, just one last time….

 

We had peaceful days?

 

There was no requirement saying that the poem had to strictly follow what happens in the game. My vision of KAG's future is great castles, towns, and evils that we, the players, must fight against together.

Also, we're not going to be slaughtering our allies in Multiplayer Zombie Mode, are we?

Thus, peace.
