TBH, it doesn't really matter when you evolve Togepi, as he's got pretty much the same moveset, and he's not really well suited to combat anyways. Anyways, it generally only takes a couple of visits to Daisy to level up Friendship pokemanz! ^__^

Not saying you wouldn't, but that there's no rush. ;)

  6. I remember in Sapphire leaving my Trapinch in the day care and forgetting about it until it was level 48. :D

i got a trapinch to level 60 ish then cheated witha bunch of rare candies to 89 so it could learn fissure in the end i had a level 100 flying, fissure-ing flygon or triple F as i call it

  8. Fissure's pretty cool against random mobs, but it's useless in competitive play. Why rely on a 30% chance to instant KO when you could 2 or 3KO with a perfectly accurate move anyway.

    [IMG][IMG] - Hapup (rock type) - A small and friendly rock-dog.
[IMG] - Rockweiler - A loyal companion, evo of Hapup
    [IMG] - Goleum - Steel/Ghost
[IMG] - Debria, the Laughing Llama
[IMG]- Avallama, the Bigger Laughing Llama
[IMG]- Llaharama, the Biggest Laughing Llama. Ground type!

What are your thoughts on these, everyone?

They don't look like evolving, it looks like they are a bit bigger

  10. Not all pokemon DRASTICALLY change when they evolve. :D

And the dog is a dog without any changes, like lillypup and that. It doesn't look rock type.
The imp is very cool, and the other guy is also very cool (But it looks more Fighting/Ghost)

Heh, there should be a Pokemon which has an evolution chain like this:
    A->B->C->A etc.
And, to make things even MORE awesome, they could all have the same name, yet be completely different, at least type/stat/move-wise. :D

  14. Deoxys I think he's thinking of. Rotom's stats are more or less the same; just its moves change.

Deoxys changes stats but they're all called Deoxys.

We *were* planning on having a cyclical evolution tree, it's quite possible to do, but we haven't figured out a way to do it that wouldn't make this mon overpowered. Perhaps all of them evolve with our 'Tome Stone' (play on Tome 'book' and Tomb 'crypt', evolves mons into humanoid mons, eg. Shushtaki into Shruman and live mons into undead mons (Reegle > Skeegle).

    You know what'd be easier?

Why would having a cyclical evolution cause balance problems? Just make each individual form balanced...

  16. Because it would have to have a high base stat on all evos to make the pokemon viable. Hence we'd probably have to leave it toward the endgame.

Heh, I'm such a noob! Didn't even know that guy existed! :P
That said, I still reckon the evolution thingy would make it far more interesting than those silly items! ^_^

  18. Hmm, it's entirely possible to have it evo at 10, 15, and so on multiples of 5 up to 100; if you found the evo you liked best I guess you'd just give it an everstone to prevent evolution.

I'd best stop the derail now. :3

Does anyone here have a Pokemon that they think had the worst design?
I would have to say Heatmor, without a doubt.
