    when jumping in water put the mouse under ur character and hold right click

    As a knight shield while aiming down press up and the direction you want to go.

    Step 1: jump into water
    step 1.5: while in midair shield down
    step 1.6 press up and the direction you want to go

    you get much better results if the water is descending

    Is there a way to fix this:

    At least once or twice, every two games I play I lose control of my character. He just winds up hopping into some direction (despite I'll try to make him stop or go opposite) and nothing I do (using mouse clicks, key commands) stops him from going there. 'Nearly died various times because my avatar is suddenly hopping towards enemy territory while I am trying to make him stop.

    Have you clicked another tab while doing this? If you press the key that sends him in that direction, It should stop. It's probably just a stuck key, I get it a lot.

    Do you use Mac and play via fullscreen?

    If yes turn off the fullscreen. Should fix it.

    If ping is your issue, you should join servers closer to you, and if it's still an issue, then there isn't much you can do except reduce the amount traffic used else where (like not downloading or using other programs that access net while playing kag)
