    Fun fact: You're wrong
Hair doesn't grow after you die (You're dead, nothing's growing but daisies. And bacteria, but that's not part of any socially acceptable phrase). It's because your body dehydrates, drawing your skin closer and closer to the skull, giving the impression that the hair actually grows.

    Some facts:

GNU stands for GNU is Not Unix.

According to some "friends" of Queen Catherine the Great of Russia, she had employed the Countess of somethingorotherrussiaville as the "L'Eprouveuse." Which translates roughly in english to "Tester of male capacity." Every man that Queen Catherine had to spend a night with first had a little fun during the night with the Countess, after which (if he proved acceptable) he was allowed into the Queen's quarters.

If you are sat on the sofa an hour before the lottery starts you are more likely to be dead by the time it starts than win.

That`s a bit of a more kown fact, but butterflies only live 1 day. Beautiness comes in small quantities.

To the contrary, Laurentiu, butterflies, on average, live for about a month. However, the monarch butterfly, if emerging in late summer, can live for about 7 to 8 months, due to it's 2500 mile migration.

I thought butterflys live for several weeks, how does a monarch migrate if it dies before leaving the city? :(

Obviously the butterfly reproduces using alternate-dimensional mitosis - during the one day it is alive, it is in fact, splitting in two, creating a copy capable of inter-dimensional travel in another dimension. When the original butterfly dies, the new butterfly simultaneously enters our universe and destroys the evidence that there was ever another butterfly by consuming the old butterfly's corpse with laser beams.

    Magical rainbow laser beams.

Most butterflies live for about a month, monarchs and a few others can live up to nine months while most (if not all) of the smaller species do live for only a day to a week.
